SCP-3342

Item #: SCP-3342

Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3342 is currently contained in site ██ and monitored by Class B personnel during the times of 12:00 to 20:00. SCP-3342-4's activation is to be reported to Level 3 researchers immediately.

Instances of SCP-3342-3 is to be apprehended using the MTF-Alpha-3 team. SCP-3342-3 is to be used for additional testing of SCP-3342 as to prevent a Class-D effect. In the event of a containment breach, SCP-3342-3 is to be neutralized immediately.

Any instances of SCP-3342-4 is to be reported directly to the site director and personnel are to await further instructions. Personnel with life-threatening diseases with no known cure are to enter SCP-3342's containment chamber every nine months. Continuous practice of this specific procedure will prevent SCP-3342-4 to activate. D-class personnel are to enter SCP-3342's chamber after 26 hours of no contact with SCP-3342. After D-class come in contact with SCP-3342, they will receive a full pardon and return to the nearest city after given Class-C amnestics. SCP-3342-3 is the only known substitute that will produce the same result as D-class personnel.

Description: SCP-3342 is an █████ wooden clock with decorations created from straw. The wood is dated 10 AD and is currently in perfect condition. No molds have been detected on the surface of SCP-3342. The clock currently has an hour hand, minute hand, and a second hand with Hebrew numerals replacing typical Roman numerals.

When left alone, SCP-3342's second hand rotates clockwise at standard Gregorian time. After 30 hours of no contact, SCP-3342 will emit a loud noise resembling a trumpet which can be heard throughout site ██, referred to as SCP-3342-4. The following day, a containment breach will proceed to occur despite following all procedures. The result of the containment breach will mirror that of the seven trumpets in the Book of Revelations. There is currently no known way to prevent a containment breach after SCP-3342-4 has activated.

D-class personnel who come in contact with SCP-3342 state that they are approached by three men who surround SCP-3342. These men, referred to as SCP-3342-1, are ordained with purple robes and gold ornaments. Upon approaching SCP-3342-1, D-class are gifted with SCP-3342-1-a, SCP-3342-1-b, and SCP-3342-1-c: a cross, a rosary, and a carpenter's hammer respectively. A faint collection of photons will hover over D-class personnel's heads for ten seconds before dispersing. Previous attempts to retain D-class have failed after researchers studying SCP-3342 began to have visions of winged humanoids ordering them to release affected D-class personnel. Failure to comply has resulted in blindness or paralysis. SCP-3342's second hand proceeds to rotate counter-clockwise indefinitely. Allowing the second hand to rotate counter-clockwise for more than 26 hours results in a deceased homicidal convict to reappear alive, referred to as SCP-3342-3.

Personnel with critical illnesses or organ failure perceive SCP-3342 as a winged humanoid, referred to as SCP-3342-2. SCP-3342-2 asks the individual the achievements they have accomplished throughout their life. After about a minute of conversation, the individual disappears from view. Reports from those that return state that they are sent to a white room, SCP-3342-5, with a bearded man, PoI-001, sitting in an office desk. They are then given a paper stating their various achievements and whether or not they were "good" or "bad". All instances of returning personnel state that they have received the result of "bad". It is assumed that personnel that fail to return received a result of "good". After the dying personnel disappears, SCP-3342 halts for the next nine months. If the individual returns to Earth, they will spend the next nine months experiencing increased nerve pain as organs fail slowly. Attempts at transplants are shown to fail.

Addendum-3342-1: The following is an excerpt from a recorded interview between Dr. ████, died nine months later, and PoI-001

Dr. ████: What do you call this location?

PoI-001: Me? I call this place home. The real question is what would you call this
location.

Dr. ████: I would request that you answer all my questions in a productive manner. What is
the real name of this location?

PoI-001: You know, I remember you now. You always were curious with the abnormal.

Dr. ████: Please answer the question.

PoI-001: How do you feel? You're family died because of you. Do you feel guilt? Guilt is a
good thing to have. It makes you human.

Dr. ████: I would request that you answer my question in a productive manner. Again,
what is the real name of this location?

PoI-001: You can call it Heaven, Enlightenment, Valhalla, whatever you humans call it
nowadays.

[Dr. ████ is given a piece of paper]

PoI-001: Have fun with that. Learn some guilt next time.

Dr. ████: Wait, one more question. Where do you send other person-

[Dr. ████ reappears in SCP-3342's containment chamber]

Dr. ████: -nel. Damn it.

[End of Interview]

Addendum-3342-2: At ██/██/██, a long horn blow emitted from SCP-3342. Religious personnel claim it was "one of the seven horns blowing". The next day, a temporary containment breach resulted in large amounts of blood in the ventilation shaft, resulting in blood to "rain" through the halls. A large fire also erupted in █████████ burning exactly a third of the forests in the region.

Addendum-3342-3: At ██/██/██, a man stating to be ██████ was captured by MTF-Alpha-3 officers. He was engaged in a mass burning of corpses that he claims to have killed. When confronted with SCP-3342, ██████ screamed and stated to see hell. ██████ collapsed and died from multiple lacerations in the head and back. SCP-3342's second hand proceeded to rotate counter-clockwise.
