Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX-1 is to be housed within a 120cm by 120cm metal cage containing bedding material (Aspen shavings and Fleece Cotton) an exercise wheel and a small plastic cave standard to domesticated rodents. A small bowl is to be placed within the housing unit daily containing eight grams assorted grains and seeds which is to be removed two hours later. SCP XXXX-1's housing unit is to have all bedding material removed and replaced weekly.
SCP XXXX-2 is to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell and has been allowed to use paper and writing utensils daily.
Description: SCP XXXX-1 is a yet unidentified species of mouse presumed to have evolved from Mus Musculus. SCP XXXX-1 shows a degree of intelligence far surpassing that of other members of its Genus to the extent that multiple intelligence tests have indicated its IQ to be between 122-132.
SCP XXXX-1's biological mutations are as follows: Enlarged prefrontal cortex, enlarged occipital lobe, apposable thumbs, developed sweat glands similair to humans and larger more developed vocal folds. SCP XXXX-1 is considered capable of abstract thought having passed multiple abstract reasoning tests, is self aware and is capable of speech.
SCP XXXX-2 is a hairless human male approximately 31 years of age. Foundation researchers have failed to find any records on public databases or in media indicating its origin. SCP XXXX-2 displays extreme mental degredation and is currently unable to form human speech however can communicate using crude drawings. SCP XXXX-2 has surgical wounds in multiple places around his body. The most severe of which are around the frontal bone and the nasal bone.
