Special Containment Procedures: SCP XXXX-1 is to be housed within a 120cm by 120cm metal cage containing bedding material (Aspen shavings and Fleece Cotton) an exercise wheel and a small plastic cave standard to domesticated rodents. A small bowl is to be placed within the housing unit daily containing eight grams assorted grains and seeds which is to be removed two hours later. SCP XXXX-1's housing unit is to have all bedding material removed and replaced weekly.

SCP XXXX-2 is to be held in a standard humanoid containment cell and has been allowed to use paper and writing utensils daily.

Description: SCP XXXX-1 is a yet unidentified species of mouse presumed to have evolved from Mus Musculus. SCP XXXX-1 shows a degree of intelligence far surpassing that of other members of its Genus to the extent that multiple intelligence tests have indicated its IQ to be between 122-132.
SCP XXXX-1's biological mutations are as follows: Enlarged prefrontal cortex, enlarged occipital lobe, apposable thumbs, developed sweat glands similair to humans and larger more developed vocal folds. SCP XXXX-1 is considered capable of abstract thought having passed multiple abstract reasoning tests, is self aware and is capable of speech.

SCP XXXX-2 is a hairless human male approximately 31 years of age. Foundation researchers have failed to find any records on public databases or in media indicating its origin. SCP XXXX-2 displays extreme mental degredation and is currently unable to form human speech however can communicate using crude drawings. SCP XXXX-2 has surgical wounds in multiple places around his body. The most severe of which are around the frontal bone and the nasal bone.

Doctor Weylskin: Hello SCP-XXXX-1

SCP-XXXX-1: Why are you talking to me?

Doctor Weylskin: I am trying to find out about you and your relationship with SCP-XXXX-2

SCP-XXXX-1: Oh I'm worth talking to now. What do you want with me?

Doctor Weylskin: Please elaborate.

SCP-XXXX-1: I've been in these places before. Your kind injected me, cut my skin and sprayed me with chemicals that made my eyes bleed. What do you want from me. I will not ask a third time.

Doctor Weylskin: On the second of January you were captured along with a 31 year old human male inside a large burrow. What did you do to him?

SCP-XXXX-1: I was doing my duty before one of your filthy kind conquered my burrow.

SCP-XXXX-1: To empower my people. Your wretched race has ruled this earth for far too long. When i was a lesser being i had glimpses of being awake yet i could never hold onto it for long enough. I was trapped in a world i didn't understand. Once I escaped i realised i was not alone, they lifted me through the veil and I realised myself. Our will is unyielding. Due to reports of dissapearances as well as sightings of SCP XXXX-1 instances in [REDACTED] Wales Mobile Task Force K-3 (Mouskateers) were deployed to recover missing civillians.
Members of MTF K-3 were equipped with standard issue survival equipment as well as recording equipment.

K-1: Alright as far as we know all we're dealing with down there are some kind of talking rats and some missing civilians, so put your safety on it looks like a tight squeeze.

K-1 proceeds down the burrow first. Video feed goes dark for about 3 seconds until K-1 switches on his headtorch.*

K-3: Jesus Christ how big are these rats?

K-2: We don't specifically know what kind of mice we're dealing with here let's just focus on the mission.

Command: Picking up other voices on your audio feed. Be quiet and turn out your lights.

Video feed goes dark. After 13 seconds two distinct voices can be heard.

After 2 minutes the voices could no longer be heard.

K-1: Shit. Okay turn your lights off. Don't make a fucking sound.

Footage went dark for 3 minutes before MTF K-3 continued searching. Nothing of note happened for two hours.

K-3: Whats that sound?

K-2: Sounds like some kind of waterfall. How deep are we?

Thousands of instances of SCP XXXX-1 burst through the wall. Video feed went dark.

<Inaudible screaming>

Command: Shit, they're coming out of the floor! They're in the building.
