Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4065 is to be locked in its case at all times when not in use. Object is to be stored in a standard containment locker at Site ██.
Description: SCP-4065 is a small, 29.5 milliliter flask made from stainless steel and has a thin layer of black leather sewed onto the side that wraps around the entire flask. The flask is sealed at the top by screwing the top on, which is secured to the flask by a small piece of metal that can move up and down. “Stainless steel 3 oz” is inscribed on the bottom of the flask. There is no information on the creator or origin.
The anomalous effect of SCP-4065 is that it can poison any drink that is poured into it, even after the flask has been thoroughly cleaned (see tests A and B). Traces of Potassium Cyanide and Strychnine have been found after chemical tests were done on liquids extracted from SCP-4065.
Note: It was first suspected that the inside of the flask was laced with poison, but thorough cleaning of SCP-4065 disproves this theory.
Test A - █/█/20█
Subject: D-class personnel
Procedure: Subject was to drink water from the flask. Subject will be monitored for 5 hours for any anomalies.
Results: Subject collapses onto the floor and experiences muscle spasms for approximately 10 minutes. Subject falls into a coma and dies 1 hour later.
Analysis: SCP-4065 was not tampered with before testing and is to be cleaned thoroughly before the next test. Origin of the poison elements is currently unknown.
Test B - █/█/20█
Subject: D-class personnel
Procedure: Subject was to drink apple juice from SCP-4065 and monitored for 5 hours as in Test A.
Results: Subject experiences muscle spasms for an additional 4 minutes after consuming the apple juice. Subject falls into a coma and dies 1 hour later.
Analysis: The interior of SCP-4065 was thoroughly cleaned before testing. Origin of the poison elements is still unknown and requires further testing. It is unknown whether or not the liquid consumed from SCP-4065 determines the duration of muscle spasms or any other effect.
