Just so you know, these ideas belong to Veralta after we discussed about my my SCP's narrative to make it more interesting. I'll remove the useless experiments soon as they serve no purpose in this narrative and I apologize for making this long.
After the Programme was launched, the MCF was very happy of the results so several executive members along side the Director of Programmes have a meeting on what to do next to "solve" global warming. They begin to propose things and one of them states they could try to enhance their zeolites anomalously to make it "better" but don't know how since a majority of their anomalous stuff are donated/given and Jeremy doesn't know how to manipulate chemicals themselves, so they decided to send two of their executive members to meet up with the Serpents Hand as they heard rumors about the Wanderers Library and figured if their lucky, they could find a book of how to solve global warming entirely or at least, enhance their zeolites.
However, the other executive member, Jacob Anderson, states they should not do that as there is nothing wrong with the zeolites themselves and should not toy around with it as he is worried they might fuck it up. He gets brushed off and the MCF agrees to continue doing more shit with it.
It ended horribly though as coincidentally on the day the MCF and Serpents Hand meet up, a GOC raid was commenced on that spot and killed everyone. The GOC had no idea about the MCF being there, so they sent an apology to them and 300k in compensation.
Jacob Maxwell, one of the executives, discusses about this matter with the Director of Programmes, Sarah Bailey. She is pissed at the GOC not because they fucked up their plans and killed someone who was invaluable to the MCF but also because they killed a close friend of hers so she wants revenge. Jacob asks her how and she doesn't know yet but she'll think of something. Before Jacob leaves, he asks her if this is what her friend wants if she died and Sarah responds by telling him to get out.
Following the incident, Sarah becomes cynical, resentful and gave less of a shit about ethics as she's approving more programmes that have bad side effects. She then starts looking into Programme Sunna-1, the largest and the least disruptive Programme the MCF has done, to see if it could be weaponized for profit but she needs someone to weaponize it for them.
So she asks the Director of Finance to see if he could find a buyer that would be willing to weaponize the aerosol for profit, as well as try to get other people in to help and is immediately rejected as he finds this absurd, going as far as to call it a "joke" and completely contradicts what the MCF is supposed to be doing until he is blackmailed into doing it.
The MCF is now creating weapons with the zeolites and other materials they have that are either toxic gas or assassination material to sell them to companies/people that want it and Sarah secretly plans to use this on the GOC. Several of the executives are not happy but they can't overrule the weapons program thing due to Sarah's position.
This shit show results in a lot of controversy in the MCF as people begin to complain, resign or continue doing it as they don't have any other income. Jacob tries to convince Sarah to stop this but she refuses to listen to him, which inevitably causes Jacob to sabotage the program by either damaging the weapons or burning money used to buy it.
He then leaks this information to the GOC as he hates how the MCF, once place dedicated to saving the world, has now become the thing they swore to destroy. The GOC sends a message to the MCF, claiming that should they strike first, they will retaliate with no mercy and strongly suggests they don't do it.
