Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6696 is to be monitored at all times by a single camera. Residents of the town are to be monitored as well by camera systems installed in various locations across the village.
Description: SCP-6696 is a hole of undetermined depth located in the village of Qasigiannguit in western Greenland, located approximately 300 meters to the north of the town's outskirts. Periodically, various residents of the village will travel to SCP-6696 in groups of 3 to 9 and upon arrival, residents will surround it at a close distance and proceed to stare down at SCP-66961. Once finished, the groups will return to their homes to rest.
Test results of the town's community has revealed that no anomalous influence has been exerted onto them by SCP-6696 or other possible anomalous factors. When questioned, certain individuals would claim they would come to SCP-6696 of their own volition and with no purpose or motive whatsoever.
