Knowledge
Traits: Members of the Lemurs of the Sun possess abnormally heightened strength and size, but are otherwise physically identical to normal ring-tailed lemurs. Offspring of members of the Lemurs of the Sun possess these same properties upon maturing.
Nature: Members of the Lemurs of the Sun possess intelligence far greater than that of an average ringed-tailed lemur. Their society is largely run by the priests, with the elders' only job being to enforce the law. Elders also oversee all commoners to ensure they perform their assigned tasks with sufficient efficiency.
All members of the Lemurs of the Sun believe in the paganistic worship of the Sun. The Lemurs of the Sun practice daily prayers and eat most meals together in a ritualistic manner(priests eat first, followed by elders, then female commoners, then male commoners, and finally children).
All known artistic content produced by the Lemurs of the Sun depicts the Sun or the society's hierarchical elite, both of which are invariably shown in a positive light.
History & Associated Parties: The Lemurs of the Sun first became known to the Hand on March 28th, 1979, following a number of fossa being found dead in Southern Madagascar, killed by several spears of unknown origin. The Lemurs of the Sun consented to cooperate with and be documented by the Hand. No other anomalous organizations are currently aware of the existence of the Lemurs of the Sun.
Approach: Individuals interacting with any members of the Lemurs of the Sun should treat their beliefs with respect and not question the leadership of their society. Individuals should also not introduce members of the Lemurs of the Sun to artwork depicting the moon, nighttime, or any natural predator of the lemur(fossa, birds of prey, etc.).
