Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5163 is to be contained in a small locked container at site-██. Before testing a researcher must be informed of the hand inside of SCP-5163 and how it becomes hostile.

Description: SCP-5163 is a small base colored cotton teddy bear with a stitched mouth measuring 1 foot high and 6 inches wide. Although looking like a stuffed bear the organism is filled with a thick liquid similar to human blood. In its basic form however colored a dark green. The organisms mouth can be opened by a researcher as long as the researcher is carrying something to cut the stitches that keep its mouth shut. A researcher (with the permission of a higher authority figure) can also reach inside of SCP-5163 and is able retrieve any of its liquid without it becoming hostile as long as the researcher dose not touch its resting arm located at the bottom of SCP-5163. The organisms arm is approximately 2 feet tall and seems to fold over itself while resting inside of SCP-5163. The arm seems almost dead as it is colored a pale white with visible black veins running up and down its arm. The arm attacks by using its razor sharp nails to cut into its victim. The nails being around an inch tall. It is unclear which gender the arm is, if related to human biology at all. SCP-5163 will remain docile through 11:00pm to 4:00am and will only become hostile if a human is sleeping alone with SCP-5163 in the same room between 11:01pm and 3:59am. SCP-5163 method of attack comes in 3 phases.

• When a human falls asleep in the same room as the organism for longer than 1 hour with no one else in the room, SCP-5163 arm will unfold itself and cut out of the organism through its stitched mouth using its sharp nails.

• SCP-5163 will pull itself towards the victim. If the victim wakes up during this phase he/she will be unable to move. The organism will makes it way to the stomach of the victim where it will start phase 3.

• While stopping on the victims stomach SCP-5163 will attack the victims throat either by stabbing, or cutting. After the victim is dead the organism will move back to its original position. The organism will then grab a sewing needle and string from inside of itself and sew its mouth back shut.
