Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently held in a Standard Humanoid Containment cell at Site-46. A minimum of two armed personnel should be stationed outside the entity’s room at all times. Rotation between the guards is hourly, any longer posing a threat to SCP-XXXX and the foundation staff. Before transportation, the humanoid is to be sedated and secured in a Type-A Humanoid Restraint Harness. Most recent reports show that SCP-XXXX is not cooperative with any of the staff, outright refusing orders and resulting in it going into “self-isolation.”
Temporary Containment Procedure Update: Following the ████████ █████████ Incident, a direct order of Site-46’s director states all contact with SCP-XXXX is to come to a complete halt until further notice. No personnel are to come within physical, audial, or visual range of the entity. SCP-XXXX is to also be transferred into an electronically sealed O-Type Armored Containment Cell, doubling the present armed guards to four, and switching the hourly rotations to every fifteen minutes. This order is in act until a consensus between the site director and research council can be met.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid male, standing approximately 1.7 meters in height. The humanoid has the appearance of a caucasian teenage boy and conventionally shows no signs of anomalous effects. Further examination shows no evidence of physical manipulation within the entity, but rather a mental trigger that is capable of spreading to others.
The anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX start to present themselves whenever it enters an online based video game which has other active players online. If the entity has direct voice communications with the other players it will begin to enter a state of antagonization. The players that can hear SCP-XXXX’s remarks will slowly start growing more enraged as time goes on.
Eventually, if possible, the players will start to reply to these remarks in a passive aggressive or directly aggressive manner, depending on the personality of the subject. At this point the anomalous activities have affected the subject permanently, enabling the antagonized players to a point of no return, noted as SCP-XXXX-01. Instances of SCP-XXXX-01 will at this point be enraged at the game, no matter the nature, and log off. At this point the affected player’s behavior will return to normal, but they will continue to think about SCP-XXXX. This will slowly, over a period of 1-26 months, develop into an obsession, causing deterioration within the mind of the player. Following the 1-26 month period, the SCP-XXXX-01 instance will start to devise a plan to “get revenge” on SCP-XXXX. This plan can be anything from attempting to dox SCP-XXXX to trying to track it down and kill it, depending on the personality and mental state of the subject.
These plans rarely succeed, if attempted at all. However the longer the instance is affected, the more SCP-XXXX takes over their thoughts. In most cases this leads to developing cases of mental instability. In rare cases this mental instability can lead to outbursts of violence, cruelty, or otherwise abnormal behavior. As of this writing there are ██ known instances of SCP-XXXX-01. None of them have shown any intention to carry out their “plans.”
Addendum: Through further testing with SCP-XXXX under the project led by Dr. Hassinger, it has been noted the entity is capable of more than originally thought. In certain subjects, SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effect works at a much quicker pace, deteriorating mental thought process. This leads to outright insanity in some, causing intense hatred for the entity. Dr. Hassinger’s work has led to a breakthrough in the understanding of the specimen.
The following is an interview conducted between SCP-XXXX and Senior Researcher William Hassinger.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX
Interviewer: Dr. William Hassinger
Foreword: SCP-XXXX has been brought into the hands of the foundation and further research of the anomalous effects surrounding it must continue.
<Begin Log, 05/05/18, 4:17:04 PM>
Dr. Hassinger: Hello, I’m Dr. Hassinger. I assume you understand why you’re here?
SCP-XXXX: (Showing confusion) What, no? I don’t understand anything that's going on.
Dr. Hassinger: Local authorities have questioned you before about this. Reports show you have indirectly caused the death of several of your close friends. Is this true?
SCP-XXXX: You’re making stuff up. How could I have killed someone?
Dr. Hassinger: This record tells me everything. You drove your closest friend, █████, to insanity. He later was arrested by authorities for killing his parents. He told the police everything, how you caused this.
SCP-XXXX: (Standing up in anger) That’s not even close to possible! I never did any of this. █████ just flipped on me! He talked about doing things he’d never think of, but I didn’t think he’d actually do it. Besides we were friends, he would never hurt me.
Dr. Hassinger: This report shows otherwise. I am here to help you and understand what is happening. Just cooperate and we can accommodate you here without trouble.
SCP-XXXX: (Screaming) I don’t even know what “here” is! Just shut up and take me home!
Dr. Hassinger: You’re not helping your situation, rather worsening it. Just comply with us and we can fix your problem.
SCP-XXXX: I don’t have a problem!
Dr. Hassinger: That is entirely up for debate. This record shows the complete opposite of what you claim. Perhaps we can do this another time.
SCP-XXXX: (Silence)
Dr. Hassinger: I will let you think about your situation.
<End Log, 05/05/18, 4:21:37 PM>
Closing Statement: Dr. Hassinger’s first interview with the entity proved ineffective. Attempting to reason with SCP-XXXX failed, only showing it to become enraged at Dr. Hassinger. More interviews are planned to further examination in the project.
WARNING:
ANY NON-AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL WILL BE TERMINATED BY MEMETIC KILL AGENT

Dr. Hassinger: (Slightly Annoyed) Listen, this time I’m going to get my answers.
SCP-XXXX: (Angered) I already said I’m not going to help you with anything.
Dr. Hassinger: I know, but that won’t stop me. Progress on the project is growing at an exponential rate. You’re a murderer. A creature. An abomination which doesn’t deserve to exist.
SCP-XXXX: (Silence)
Dr. Hassinger: How do you do this to these people? When did this start and how are those close to you not driven to insanity?
SCP-XXXX: (Silence)
Dr. Hassinger: (Shouting) Answer me! Tell me everything you know! Stop hiding the truth from me or I’ll get it from you in ways you’d never wish to explore.
SCP-XXXX: (Shouting back) I don’t know anything! I don’t remember anything happening ever.
Dr. Hassinger: (Growing angrier) You’re lying. This is why you are where you are, you lie! You’re only temporarily slowing research that will never be stopped. You are disgusting, horrible, and I will terminate you myself when this project is finished.
SCP-XXXX: (Showing fear) What are you talking about?
Dr. Hassinger: (Slamming the desk) You are an abomination, prolonging my research!
SCP-XXXX: (Silence)
Dr. Hassinger: Consider yourself lucky that I must depart. However, I will return, and when I do I assure you I will have everything I need to know from you. Your time here is growing shorter by the day. We’re done here.
