A specimin found on DR. ██████ (Messy) floor.

Item #: SCP-xxxx

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx samples and specimens are to be contained on site-75 in a 2 m x 5 m x 2 m electric cube with a speaker playing a piece of music. Every 2 hours, a scientist will change the music to a song that fits the time of day it is. If SCP-xxxx is moving faster than normal, a CLASS-D will be sent to hold it down while a scientist sends 34,000 volts of electricity through the chamber. the CLASS-D will be disposed of, while also changing the music to a violin or cello solo.

A daily infectability will be made to see if it is stable, if not stable, it will be frozen in a 3 m x 3 m cube of ice. About 4 hours in the ice block should be enough to stabilize it, if not, it will be sent to "The Torture Room" to be shocked with 5,000 volts of electricity, then sent back into the cube of ice. That cycle will be repeated until it is stable. Once stable a CLASS-D will be fed to it to keep it alive.

During a containment breach, if SCP-xxxx escapes from its chamber, top tier soldiers within TYPE-B Radiation Protection suit will quickly transport the specimen to "The Torture Room" where multiple electrical shocks will be sent through it, the optimal form of disciplining the specimen.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a long piece of fabric (7 meters long) woven with an unknown, biological, substance that is similar to string. Its texture is fleshy but itself is soft and furry. When a human comes in contact with it, the person's skin will slowly stretch out and become saggy, The victim's eyes will also lose hue and saturation. The infected human can also become a source of food for SCP-xxxx. The victim's emotions will be amplified and will begin to condone violence on other people and will feast on them as the victim's skin continues to slowly stretch out. When the victim's skin is completely stretched out, they will place themselves in a cold, moist, environment (in the dirt, a cave, or a tundra), they will die and begin to be flattened out into a long strip, normally 4 to 8 meters long. Similar to the original SCP-xxxx specimen, it will have a fleshy texture and a soft feel, this new strip will proceed to infect other humans. Its lifespan is 7 through 15 weeks.

A colourful SCP-xxxx.

To lure humans in, it releases pheromones that attract humans. SCP-xxxx can sometimes be colored to attract more humans.

SCP-xxxx can be slowed down if put in an enclosed area surrounded by a large amount of electricity and/or heat (above 42.65 degrees Celsius), they also have fears similar to whom they are made of, restricting the offspring of the (Original) SCP-xxxx from completely fulfilling the instinct they were born with, to hunt down humans to infect.

On close inspection, SCP-xxxx cannot be destroyed by physical means but is vulnerable to offensive language and psychological harm, This is also the same for the infected victims. Loud noises enhance its speed but decrease its size and infectability, when calming music is played its size will increase, and will decrease speed, but will increase infectability by a large amount. A large number of instruments forming music at the same time will not change its shape, but its mood. Abusing this fact can make it self-destruct or dissipate.

Addendum SCP-xxxx-A: This is a reaction log of how SCP-xxxx responds to various scores of music.

Beethoven - Symphony No. 5: The specimens movement is shifting between speeds. Using evidence, it appears that its mood is being changed to an excited mood. to its material is hardening into a copper like metal. It started to simultaneously implode and release noises similar to birds, while the specimen of SCP-xxxx is combusting into flames, it has also started to form a permanently frozen dust. When the dust melted, they became a smaller form of the specimen. these have really high infectability rates.

Next score:

Mozart - Turkish March: Interesting indeed, it appears that this specimen is moving in a curious way, its infectability levels have lowered to merely nothing. We have sent D-4785 into the chamber. The CLASS-D seems unaffected by it. Unfortunately, the specimen while coming in contact, the CLASS-D exploded, the head remains alive? We will look into this.

Last piece of music:

Smash Mouth - All Star: The new specimen it's wriggling around the floor in a figurate eight pattern, It appears to be slightly growing longer. A wet ooze is dripping from its body. The ooze is turning into a slime-like substance that is sentiently moving in the figure eight pattern SCP-xxxx specimen was making. This went on for 5 hours until we stopped playing the music, then the slimes froze into the fleshy material that SCP-xxxx is made of, and the specimen split into equal pieces, frozen in place. We will test this new form it has taken.
