Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-XXXX cannot be physically contained, containment efforts directed towards SCP-XXXX are to primarily concern information control. Foundation web crawlers assigned to the SCP-XXXX project are to monitor global mass media outlets for signs of SCP-XXXX related phenomena, while providing suitable cover stories should deletion of anomalous information prior to dissemination prove ineffective or infeasible.

A Provisional Field Research Team (hence referred to as PFRT-XXXX-1) comprised of agents from MTF Lambda-5 (“White Rabbits”), MTF Epsilon-6 (“Village Idiots”), and temporal specialists from the Foundation Department of Science is to lead investigation efforts into the origins of SCP-XXXX.

  • Plainclothes agents of MTF Lambda-5 are to establish a perimeter 1.5 km away from the SCP-XXXX research site, and deter civilian entrance under the cover story of a group of personnel from the Ontario Department of Public Health surveying water quality of Lake Manitou.
  • Agents of MTF Epsilon-6 are to survey the local government and populace of Mindemoya, Ontario for anomalous phenomena related to SCP-XXXX. MTF Epsilon-6 is also responsible to carry out any amnesticizations ruled necessary by project lead Senior Researcher Faust Imperato. In the event that mass amnesticization of Mindemova or surrounding areas becomes necessary, additional resources are to be provided to PFRT-XXXX-1 in order to accommodate for the scale of such an event.
  • Temporal specialists from the Foundation Department of Science are to cooperate with project command stationed at Site-24 in order to conduct research into the origins and nature of SCP-XXXX and resulting anomalous side-effects.

Details of the SCP-XXXX investigation are to be attached to this file and regularly updated, by order of Project Director Faust Imperato.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the collective designation given to a minor temporal anomaly and related phenomena currently affecting Lake Manitou, Canada and surrounding areas. It is currently hypothesized that SCP-XXXX is an example of the phenomena of “temporal spillover”1 from an anomalous event that occurred in a chronology parallel to our own, and is going to occur within the future of our current chronology.2
