Special Containment Procedures: While SCP-XXXX's effects are mostly contained, capturing or exterminating SCP-XXXX is currently not feasible, as they are indistinguishable from normal members of the genus Corvus except via behavior and temperature. SCP-XXXX's effects are contained by feeding SCP-XXXX-A instances. The food provided should be safe and nutritious for birds to reduce the possibility of them returning to other food sources.

Corvus_corax

An instance of SCP-XXXX-A, identified as Corvus corax.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large community of birds consisting of various species from the genus Corvus, distributed throughout southern California. These birds, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-A, are physically identical to their mundane counterparts, but display extremely high intelligence and a hyperactive metabolism. There are no known genetic differences between SCP-XXXX-A instances and their mundane counterparts, and captive SCP-XXXX-A instances bred with their mundane counterparts will invariably produce mundane offspring.

Before its discovery, SCP-XXXX used humans as its primary food source. SCP-XXXX utilized the organizing nature of humans to kill large quantities of them at once, allowing it to gather enough food to sustain the SCP-XXXX-A instances' heightened metabolisms. In some instances, SCP-XXXX would place high-value objects like money, jewelry, etc. in a trapped location, allowing people to learn about the location and return as a group, which would then be killed using traps and harvested by SCP-XXXX-A individuals.

The Foundation has tried to tag confirmed SCP-XXXX-A instances in the past, however they quickly crush and remove bands attached to their legs and become violent if restrained for implantation, often resulting in self-termination. Only thirteen (13) SCP-XXXX-A individuals have been successfully tagged, using implanted radio transmitters.

Because of the ineffectiveness of previous containment and extermination attempts, as well as cuts to funding from the United States, the Foundation has resorted to feeding SCP-XXXX in order to reduce their hunting behavior. While SCP-XXXX isn't contained in the traditional sense, its hunting events have been reduced to negligible amounts through the use of minimal resources, warranting its classification as Euclid.
