Special Containment Procedures: At this time, the Foundation Overseer Council has determined through a 12-1 vote that SCP-001 is not a threat to anyone, or anything - it cannot even break out of the glass it is currently contained in.

Description: SCP-001 is an amorphous mass of human stem cells currently contained at Site-19. It is on average 2.31 cm in diameter, and weighs approximately 79 grams.

SCP-001 was developed to be an experimental drug, with the goal of being a substitute to SCP-500. SCP-001 is able to mobilize through the human body and quickly divide itself to heal wounds.

Reclassification to Explained pending. SCP-001 is not anomalous, nor dangerous.

Special Neutralization Procedures: Nuke the entire planet from orbit. Even then, it probably still wouldn't work.

Description: Alright, I'm writing this from a bunker under Site-01 nowhere, stop asking. I'm pretty lonely down here, so if anyone (NOT an instance of SCP-001-1) would like to join me please do. Just don't be an instance of SCP-001-1. The only point of writing this is for archival purposes.

SCP-001 is a massive, amorphous organism which at the time of writing comprises 99.84% of the Earth's mass. It is located almost everywhere on the surface, with known exceptions being an area near Usinsk, Russia as well as [REDACTED], Pennsylvania.
