Containment Protocols: RCPA-009 is to be contained in a keypad-protected storage unit on the Research and Laboratories Level of Site-023. RCPA-009 may be removed from its container for testing purposes, with the approval of Level 3 Research staff. RCPA-009 is not to be used outside of approved testing areas, and only when in need of resources. Testing on CSD may be conducted with the approval of Site Director ██████ ███████. RCPA-009 may not be removed from its container. MST and ASF personnel may enter the chamber at any given moment, but must be aware of the possible dangers of using RCPA-009. Description: RCPA-009 is a dark grey, IKEA brand sofa. Records confirm that the object was manufactured in 1963 in a factory in Malmö , Sweden. Object has no structural damage to date and is indistinguishable from other sofas of its brand.
Object's anomalous effects will not become apparent until one human subject enters REM sleep on it. Exactly two hours, twenty minutes and thirty seconds after subject enters REM sleep, they will suddenly vanish along with any item they are in physical contact with. Discovery: RCPA-009 was discovered in an IKEA store in Amsterdam, Netherlands, when a clerk reported a middle aged woman holding a polyester bag filled with various silver items. Authority agents were sent to commandeer the items and gave the both the clerk and the woman Class A-2 Amnestics.
