I've got a bit of writer's block at the moment, I'll come back to this on Monday when I'm not as tired and have the right ideas in mind.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The location of the original SCP-XXXX flowers' remains is currently unknown. SCP-XXXX's vase and all known media depicting SCP-XXXX is currently stored in Storage Site-64 and kept within a standard Containment locker accessible to Level 3 personnel only. The vase is to be kept away from all forms of floral life at all times. References to automatic censorship devices are to be monitored to anticipate the recreation of SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a metallic vase containing flowers belonging to the species Gypsophila paniculata. Upon viewing an image of the flowers in the vase, subjects are physically unable to perceive graphic material for approximately 45 minutes, assumed to correlate with the length of the average television show. However, any viewing while still under the effects of SCP-XXXX exponentially increases the duration and strength of the effect, eventually restricting the subject's thoughts and speech to inoffensive terms. After extensive exposure to SCP-XXXX, the effects begin to base themselves off the subject's own perception of immorality and offensiveness.
Recovery Log: All known documents pertaining to SCP-XXXX were seized from K27JA-D, a local television station in Oakridge, Oregon, on January 2nd 2020 after a number of broadcasts the day prior. On January 1st, over 600 households across Oakridge viewed the tape in the form of reoccurring advertising between regularly scheduled child-oriented programming as part of an experimental safety procedure. This resulted in cases of progressive and total blindness at nearby hospitals, necessitating the use of amnestics on the local populous. During the recovery of the documents, the tape was found to have been supplied to the station by Astraea Productions, a previous subsidiary of Prometheus Labs (see Interview Log XXXX-B)
