Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures:
Anti-aura protection gear is to be worn at all times when guarding SCP-XXXX. Keep SCP-XXXX-A under lock and key at all times.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a school in [Redacted], Louisiana, formerly attended by over one hundred students before being contained by the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a spray gun, similar to those used by painters, which was possessed by most students attending SCP-XXXX. Upon being sprayed by such a device, an object or person begins vanishing from existence. Inanimate objects and invertibrate animals disappear from the shooter's left-hand side to the right, as measured at the time of spraying. Vertibrate animals, including humans, disappear starting at the ends of libs and finishing at the head. The location of contact doesn't seem to affect this.
It is unknown what the origin of SCP-XXXX-A is, but it seems to produce an aura which makes affected people, such as school faculty and the children's parents, not see any problem with children possessing it. Teachers would sometimes even give SCP-XXXX-A to students as rewards for good behavior. The school was known to have regular "spray wars" in which the children would attempt to spray each other with the spray in a similar manner to water gun fights.
SCP-XXXX-B appears to be a broom closet emerging from the south wall of the second wing of SCP-XXXX
SCP-XXXX-B is painted white with green trim, the school's official colors which the rest of the wing is painted. Rather than being flush with the ground, the interior bottom of the closet is about a half-meter above the concrete, with a triangular support structure filling the space between.
There is no door to enter the closet. However, at the edge where the slant meets the bottom of the closet itself is a single small hole , shaped like a venn diagram, whith each circle being one centimeter in diameter.
Despite the small size of this hole, a person, including an adult, is able to fit through the hole to enter and exit the closet with little difficulty. Inanimate objects other than clothes cannot be pushed through the hole unless kept in a pocket.
SCP-XXXX-B was discovered by Thomas Riddleston, a first-grade student at the time, who then used SCP-XXXX-B frequently to hide during the school's "spray wars". Riddleston did not possess SCP-XXXX-A with which to defend himself. However, Thomas stopped using SCP-XXXX-B for this purpose immediately after discovering SCP-XXXX-C during his fourth grade year. Further SCP investigations have verified the nature of SCP-XXXX-B, including SCP-XXXX-C.
SCP-XXXX-C is an object contained within SCP-XXXX-C, which cannot be removed therefrom.
SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a regular bag of generic-brand gardening soil, and appears to be such when the bag is looked into. However, if the bag is tipped over and spilled, the contents turn out to be fire ants, which crawl out of the bag unrelentingly until either the bag is returned to its upright position. During this time, the hole which normally forms the exit to SCP-XXXX loses its abnormal properties, trapping the person in the closet. Upon being returned to its upright position, the ants that were let out remain in the closet until they starve, but the hole regains its abnormal property, allowing the victim to leave and be treated.
