It was delicious

It was a nice morning, after the rain the sun did shine. The reflections on the ground were beautiful as he walked to the pastry shop. He wanted to buy some tasteful cakes for his family who visited him during the week. He entered the pastry shop: everything was enjoyable bright, every surface was polished delightful to the last corner and above that appearance the pastries were tempting. If anyone would have asked him in that instance he would have given five stars. He had to buy a pastry. And therefore he did.
Later as he came back home he had a very bright smile.
He served his food to the family. Unpacked it were just normal cakes and a variety of pastries. But it did not taste exactly like cake. One relative of him pointed out the pastries all tasted faintly like wood. He did thought that idea was ridiculous.
However, the meeting with his family was undisturbed by this fact and after the family left he wrapped up the leftovers of the pastries.
The next morning his legs felt stiff. He thought that was normal even when remembering clearly that he never such problems. In the rest of this day this feeling started to grow through the body. After his work he had to go the exquisite pastry shop. He could not stop to think about the mouthwatering pastries. This time he was able to recognize a person with a white apron behind the counter.
Of course the pastries were pleasant for him. Just in the moment he did eat the pastries his relative called him. She told him with surprise that she couldn't find the pastry shop he mentioned last time. He answered that she simply looked at the wrong place. He was not able to think otherwise.
When he was going to bed his arms and legs felt like they were made of wood.
In the morning he stood up in a mechanical manner. He felt no need to eat, no need to drink and no need for the daily shower. There was only one need: he had to go to the pastry shop.
While he was moving the street along every human he met looked with delectable fear in the eyes.
In the pastry shop he recognized for the first time another being like him just behind the counter. So they stood in the pastry shop filled with tempting riches in the sweet form of pastries and he thought: In the end it was delicious!
