Special Containment Procedure: SCP-XXXX is contained within a large room, with catwalks and railing along the walls, and the SCP itself is surrounded by a 10-meter tall concrete wall. MTF Gamma-3 "Farm Hands" have been assigned to watch over this site and will be armed with SCP AA-13 Prototypes. Before and after the research team and security team enter, they must be counted to ensure the same amount of personnel that entered exited successfully. It is to be watered with lamb's blood every 6 days through the sprinkler system. Scientists and test subjects must be escorted by 5 Gamma-3 "Farm Hand" armed guards. No personnel under level 3 security clearance are allowed with the SCPs confines and will be terminated if discovered to be disobeying these rules.

Description SCP-XXXX is a 4 Acre cornfield located in ███████. The corn is a blood red, getting darker as it progresses toward the center of the field. A red mist (assigned SCP-XXXX-2) blankets the top of the field, making it only visible when entered. SCP-XXXX-2 gets heavier and darker as it gets closer to the center of SCP-XXXX. Those affected by SCP-XXXX-2 will bleed through the eyes, mouth, ears, and nose until dying of blood loss. A scarecrow, designated SCP-XXXX-1, lurks in SCP-XXXX, making a chiming sound. The sound is shown to trigger a fear reflex in most undisciplined subjects. Not much is known as to why SCP-XXXX-1 "defends" SCP-XXXX, but is known to fear fire. This fear will be exploited for further tests. SCP-XXXX-1 shows extreme discomfort when a living being enters SCP-XXXX. It will kill them through one of its many methods, and will then mutilate them in many ways. The field was discovered when multiple child disappearances occurred in SCP-XXXX. Multiple civilians interviewed report " The field came out of f████ing nowhere!". A majority of the locals stated the field never existed at all. SCP Foundation personnel handled the situation and administered Class-C amnesthetics to contain any knowledge of the incident. All family and friends of the missing children were also given these amnesthetics and any pictures and evidence of these children were removed. A cover story has been put in place for SCP-XXXX. Local residents were told a false cover story, and the gap had been filled in. They now think the site had been there most of their lives.
Note: It has come to the Foundation's attention that the MTF refers to SCP-XXXX-1 as " Farmer Fred". SCP-XXXX-1 will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 ONLY.
Addendum XXXX-1.1 ██/██/19 Incident
During a test regarding SCP-XXXX's soil, captain ██████ of Gamma-3 "Farm Hands" was discovered missing during roll call. The team reported that he had been covering their flank. They also report a
hearing wind chime. Watchtower Beta received multiple radio transmissions from the captain's personal radio, as given to every MTF member. The corpse of the captain was found pinned to sticks in a cross shape, with a crude slash to the abdomen. Straw was stuffed into him, replacing his organs. His eyes had almost been completely gouged out.
Addendum XXXX-1.3 ██/██/19 Failed Termination
The 05 council had decided SCP-XXXX needs no further research and will be terminated when the schedule allowed so. The desired termination method had been by fire. During the torching of SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 had attacked all personnel, leaving only Private █████ alive and in critical condition.None of the bodies of the personnel have been recovered. Private █████ will be terminated as to keep the SCP site secret. SCP-XXXX-1 has been successfully terminated as of ██/██/19.
