Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5224 is to be kept on a mannequin inside a glass case approximately 1 inch thick at site 9. Personnel of level 1 clearance and above may access SCP-5224 for testing purposes only. One armed guard is to monitor SCP-5224 at all times, following incident 5224-A.
Description: SCP-5224 is a old brown leather jacket with 4 rusted metal buttons. When worn, SCP-5224 has the ability to disguise the wearer as anyone or change to any clothing desirable. The limits to these changes is unknown. Wearing SCP-5224 for more than 78 hours results in irreversible changes to he wearers appearance and even longer causes the subject to completely loose memory of who they are, believing they are truly who they disguised as.
Addendum:
Notes from Dr Fletcher: "SCP-5224 has been a subject of conversation in my group for more than a few days now. The new security officer seems extremely interested in it. To be honest, i think its useless. A piece of clothing that makes you a halloween costume? Why? I thing its best we keep it away from the new officer though. We are beginning to have suspicions about him."
Incident 5224-A: SCP-5224 may be harder to contain than first believed. A security officer dissapeared in a breach a few weeks ago. Everyone thought he was killed. Then we found Fletcher's corpse. It was bady rotten. i dont know how we didn't smell it. He had to have been there for at least 3 weeks. "Dr Fletcher" was shot on the spot. It turns out the security officer he had concerns about was actually a spy, waiting for the perfect time to take SCP-5224 out of the facility. Had he succeeded, it would have been devastating to the site. Who knows who could have snuck in without us noticing. SCP-5224 is being changed from safe to euclid class as soon as we receive confirmation from the site manager
