SCP-007.5
Object class: Keter

SCP-007.5 is an extremely infectious flora bio contagion, which closely resembles the Monarda didyma, but upon further investigation, it is revealed that it doesn’t contain an ovum of any kind. The infection involves 3 stages. The first stage begins as soon as contact is made with SCP-007.5 or it’s pollen. Almost immediately, minuscule roots start to sprout from the eyes, originating from the brain. SCP-007.5 essentially uses the host’s genetic information as a seed, since SCP-007.5 only possesses the male set of reproductive organs. The host then starts to experience sudden violent urges. If those urges are acted upon, the roots that are now embedded in the brain release an unique and extremely addictive opioid. The host is now addicted to violent actions towards others. If the violent urges are not acted upon, the host’s brain activity is terminated by SCP-007.5’s embedded roots. The second stage is reached when the host has completely lost it’s ability for reason, and is living solely for the kick of the opioid. At this stage, vegetation starts to emerge from the skin, stomach and lungs, allowing SCP-007.5 to be spread to new hosts. At stage three, vegetation has completely covered the host’s body. SCP-007.5 is now more contagious than ever. With the host’s every move, more pollen is released into the surrounding air. When within a ten metre radius of a stage three infected, there is a 100% chance of getting infected. If not immediately infected by the pollen, you will be mauled by the stage three host. As soon as a host becomes infected, pheromones are released by the roots within you, communicating with other infected not to attack.
