The Homesick Horse (SCP Proposal) Audio Log

The Following is the central narrative of The Homesick Horse (SCP Proposal) this was put here in order to save space on the actual forum post.

Central Narrative: On █/█/████ a D-Class personnel escaped on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX and the D-class were tracked down and returned to the foundation. The D-Class was then brought in for questioning.
The following is the audio from the interview:

START AUDIO LOG

Dr. ████████: "Do you know why we brought you here?"

D-Class: "I can guess."

Dr. ████████: "Do you understand how serious this is?"

D-Class: "I understand completely."

Dr. ████████: "You caused a containment breach."

D-Class: "Listen Doc, it was just a horse. What was the worse that could've happened?"

Dr. ████████: "I'll tell you the worse that could've happened; you could've caused a multi-site containment breach of multiple dangerous SCPs! You coul-"

Dr. ████████:"Uh, forget about it. Tell me, why did you escape?"

D-Class: "Like most D-Class, I wanted out, I wanted to go back home."

Dr. ████████: "Yes, we get that a lot, but there are reasons why we can't send you back."

D-Class: "Yes, i know"

Dr. ████████: "Anyway can you tell me about your encounter with SCP-XXXX

D-Class: "It wasn't my first time working with him, except other times I stayed far away from him. He sorta scared me, I know that is sorta weird, its just he is so big."

D-Class: "This time when I was feeding him he walked towards me. When I noticed him I nearly ran away, but I sort of got a feeling when I stared into his eyes."

Dr. ████████: "Can you elaborate on that?"

D-Class: "It was a strange feeling, Doc. I felt like he and I were connected."

Dr. ████████: "Is that why you helped him escape?"

D-Class: "No, not at all."

Dr. ████████: "Then why did you help him escape."

D-Class: "It was what he told me."

Dr. ████████: "Excuse me?"

D-Class: "The horse, SCP-XXXX spoke to me"

Dr. ████████: "And what did he say?"

D-Class: "He didn't really say anything. I could just feel it. It wasn't verbal. All I knew is that He knew I wanted to escape, I could feel it in his eyes."

Dr. ████████: Didn't you know what would happen to you if you escaped?"

D-Class: Yes, I knew, but this horse understood me. I felt like the only thing that mattered was me going home."

D-Class: "The guard was getting suspicious of me being in there for so long and had to forced me out."

D-Class: "But I just couldn't stop thinking about SCP-XXXX. That night I had a dream where he was staring at me the same way he did before.

D-Class: "The next morning I went over to SCP-XXXX room like normal, but this time when he saw me, he started going crazy, he was kicking his legs back and forth and knocking over his food."

Dr. ████████: "Was he trying to cause a distraction?"

D-Class:"Yes, that horse was smarter than I thought."

D-Class:"The guards noticed the horse going crazy and immediately ran in to calm him down."

D-Class:"That is when I took my chance to disable the electric current."

Dr. ████████: "Did the guards notice?"

D-Class:"Well, SCP-XXXX knocked them out."

Dr. ████████: "Really? Those guards have training they shouldn't be able to be stopped by a simple safe class SCP."

D-Class: "I walked up to SCP-XXXX, but then the alarms started to sound."

Dr. ████████: "Well yes, of course. SCP-XXXX knocked out two guards."

D-Class: "SCP-XXXX bowed his head to me, as of to say "We are going home."

D-Class: "I got on SCP-XXXX the second the next batch of guards came in."

Dr. ████████: "Can you tell me what the riding experience was like?"

D-Class: "It was so fast, I almost felt weightless, but it was over after a second."

Dr. ████████: "And where did SCP-XXXX take you?"

D-Class: "I was back home, back where I was arrested."

Dr. ████████: "Did you go inside your house?"

D-Class: "Yes, but there was no one there."

Dr. ████████: "Did you actually think your family would be there?."

D-Class: "Part of me didn't but I realized something."

Dr. ████████: "And what would that be?"

D-Class: "This foundation, you take things away from the world, you don't just take away the bad things but you take away the good things. Maybe this world would be better if SCP-XXXX was allowed to roam free, ever think of that? This foundation not only ruined my life but they made it so I didn't have a life to go back to. All of us, all of the people and creatures in this foundation have a home, and you took that home away from us. So give me my punishment, end my life like you did to so many other "disposables" because that day, I realized I lost my life long ago.
