Special Containment Procedures: Due to the widespread use of SCP-3120-J, it has proven difficult to contain and thus has Keter class. SCP-3120-J has proven moderately useful in the containment of other SCPs, so it is not entirely necessary to contain it.

Description: SCP-3120-J has many forms, but is most often found as a small brown rectangular prism that is hollow and can unfold to be one flat sheet of cardboard. Instances can also be made out of glass, wood, plastic, paper, and [REDACTED], and are often used to store and transport other items with relative ease. They are often referred to as boxes.

When a member of felis catus, or domestic cat, observes an instance of SCP-3120-J, it feels compelled to walk toward it and sit inside. This effect is broken when the cat needs to relieve itself, is hungry or thirsty, sees a more interesting box, or is forcibly removed. The effect is negated if the cat has been around for box a lot recently. If two or more cats arrive at the same box, they might all get in, fight over the box, or ignore it completely.

SCP-3120-J can affect other SCPs, as long as said other SCP is a cat. A good example of this is Incident 795-11, when SCP-795 escaped containment but was caught by an instance of SCP-3120-J and re-contained. Further testing revealed that containment via SCP-3120-J also prevented use of any anomalous properties on trapped subjects, if said subject was also a cat. This is possibly due to the fact that the cat was too intensely focused on the box to do anything.
