Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX should be contained in a 5m x 5m x 3m cell padded with soundproof foam. All personnel are not allowed within SCP-XXXX's chamber unless approved, and in the event they are approved to enter the object's chamber, personnel are required to wear sound cancelling headphones. If a personnel enters the object's cell for exactly 10 minutes or more during the 10-20 minute interval of activity, the personnel is advised to be sent to the mental health department and observed until the effect of the exposure subsides.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a record player made in the early 1900's, manufactured by ████████. The turntable of the record player is indefinetely spinning, and there is no reported way of stopping it. The seems to be manufactured out of mahogany, the record made out of shellac, and the stylus made out of an unknown metal. The stylus of the object will frequently drop down and play the record ranging around 10-20 minute intervals, and the sound the record generates seems to cause a range of emotions, ranging from aggression to sorrow. Addendum: Test A - 2/18
Subject: Fergson Guffrey, D-2462: Male, Age 35
Procedure: Exposing Subject to SCP-XXXX for 10 minutes
Results: Subject displayed intense aggression to personnel after being let out, even attacking Dr. █████ and wounding him. Subject does not remember the experience.
Test B - 2/20
Subject: Isaac Gramm, D-6836: Male, Age 24
Procedure: Exposing Subject to SCP-XXXX for 15 minutes
Results: Subject displayed heavy grief and sorrow for unknown reasons, investigating further. Subject remembers experience vividly.
Test C - 2/22
Subject: Emily Ophel, D-8575: Female, Age 26
Procedure: Exposing Subject to SCP-XXXX for 20 minutes
Results: Subject displayed irrational paranoia and fear. Claimed something was watching them to the staff after being let out. Subject has had long term paranoia since the encounter.
