Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-#, SCP-#-01, SCP-#-02, and SCP-3-03, Site-88 has been built on the surface above SCP-#. A place of business, (currently a gas station,) acting as a front, is to be maintained on the surface above SCP-#. All high-ranking employees of said business are to be Foundation Researchers and agents currently assigned toSCP-#. Any civilians found within SCP-#'s tunnels are to be escorted off the property and questioned, before being administrated Class-A Amnesiacs.

Foundation researchers who require access to SCP-# must request access five weeks in advance and present a level-2 or higher access card before entering the tunnels.

In the event of an SCP-#-03 manifestation, Site-88 is to be put into lockdown with a civilian coverup of a gas leak. Description: SCP-# is a subterranean cave, measuring at 100 meters x 100 meters x 145 meters. Analysis of the cave's structure shows that it is constructed of eighty-five percent of a limestone-copper composite material, and twenty-five percent of a currently unknown anomalous material, referred to as SCP-#-01.

SCP-#-01 appears to be a mineral-like compound, similar in it's tensile strength and composition to limestone, with a red hue. Analysis has shown SCP-#-01 to be composed of a currently previously undiscovered compound. The anomalous effects of SCP-#-01 persist when the sample is removed from SCP-#

SCP-#-01's anomalous properties occur whenever an image or word is carved into it's surface. When an image or word is carved into SCP-#-01, after twenty-four hours the SCP-#-01 compound will become indestructible by conventional means. Likewise, the carving on the surface of SCP-#-01 will be unable to be removed by conventional means.¹

The entirety of the surface of SCP-# have been inscribed with several hieroglyphics of unknown origin, written in several languages of unknown origin. These inscriptions are hereby described as SCP-#-02 [See Addendum-#-01 for descriptions of the languages.] Foundation personnel have not been able to decipher these languages.

The inscriptions follow a similar pattern, of which is a series of hieroglyphics accompanied by the four languages, a string of each etched underneath the hieroglyphics.

The strings each appear to tell a similar if not identical series of events. The most coherent rendition of the events depicted in SCP-#-02's instances comes from the hieroglyphics depicted on SCP-#'s surface. For a written transcription of said hieroglyphics, see

Document-#-01

Below is a written account of the hieroglyphics within SCP-#. This is a rough transcription done by Head Researcher Rembrand. This report has been reduced for brevity. For access to the full report, please contact Researcher Rembrand. The series of events depicted in SCP-# are subject to reinterpretation.

In the beginning, there were four strong (mighty? old? long-lasting?) kingdoms. One of kings.(gods?) One of creators. (inventors? teachers?) One of learners. One of fish. (Sea? Lizards? Beasts?) They lived. There were wars. There was peace. The sea kingdom (loved? united? was one with?) the kingdom of learners. They were all one. (Note: This transcription showed the several hieroglyphics that represented the kingdoms carved on top of each other.)

When the kingdoms united, there was strength (prosperity?). The kingdoms got bigger. They grew in their power.

Kingdoms grew too much. Kingdoms gained too much. Those who learned learned too much. Those who taught taught too much. Those who were kings ruled too much. They wanted more than what they could reach.

They attempted to go to a new world. World (possibly light? Life?) ended. Three people (figures?) made these inscriptions (recorded these inscriptions?) (were in this cave?) ([REDACTED]?).
Two (kingdoms? worlds? lands? planets?) collide into each other.

The languages found within SCP-# appear to be ancient in origin. No definitive connections to any other known anomalous or non-anomalous language can be found. Attempts to translate these languages are currently ongoing, though the effects of SCP-# make translation difficult. There are four languages inscribed within SCP-# in addition to the hieroglyphics.

Languages Found Within SCP-#
Language-01	Appears to have several similarities to Old English, though only in typographical instances.
Language-02	Composed of unknown glyphs. Similarities to Nordic runes have been noted, but no relation has been able to be deciphered.
Language-03	Appears to be a series of circles, each with a smaller circle contained within. The inner circles vary on their positions, but always lie in some spot within the circles. Of note, there is a larger diagram that begins this section. A large circle, with several other circles drawn within it that share appearances with the rest of 03.
Language-04	Appears to be texture based. Each 'symbol' of 04 has a different and varied feel, though many of these symbols are nearly identical to others.

The anomalous properties of SCP-# are applied whenever a living humanoid is present in the general vicinity of SCP-# during an SCP-#-03 event. When a humanoid is present within SCP-#, they will gain a sudden comprehension of these language. However, they will also only be able to speak in one of the four languages. Subjects who undo this effect showcase distress and confusion. Interviews with subjects after the effects of SCP-# have faded indicate that they were aware that they could no properly communicate with researchers.

SCP-#-03 is the designation given to a quad-monthly manifestation of four anomalous humanoids, designated SCP-#-03-01 through SCP-#-03-04. The Alpha-# manifestations appear as constructs of light, a faint blue in hue.

SCP-#-03-01 has the appearance of a tall, thin humanoid with short hair. Notable features includes elongated arms, coming down five meters further than an average humanoid. The humanoid also appears to have wider eyes.

SCP-#-03-02 is closer in appearance to an average human, though the general structure of it's body appears to show a thicker bone structure. The hands of the creature have elongated fingers that appear to form into a point. SCP-#-03-02's bone structure includes a tail extending from the back of it's waist. Observations have also led to a swollen bulge located around the left side of the stomach.

SCP-#-03-03 has physical traits similar to both a humanoid and an aquatic animal. Fins protrude from the subject's ears. It's eyes are located on the side of it's skull, and the subject's arms can be observed connected to the side of it's torso via a web-like skin structure. The subject also holds a much thinner general build, with longer arms and legs compared to an average human.

SCP-#-03-04 appears to be a automatous human, similar in appearance to SCP-#-03-02. Occasional bursts of steam are expelled from the subject's body.
