Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX must always be in its chamber, which is composed of simple glass and concrete on all walls and watched at all times. However, certain instances of the cameras in the chamber being turned off and flickering back on revealed that the entity is in fact is sentient. Yet SCP-XXXX shows no signs of attempted escape, even with cameras turned off.

Description: Standing at a meter and three quarters tall, SCP-XXXX, nicknamed "Midas's Daughter", is a humanoid entity with the bodily proportions of a female as well as royal clothing all in solid gold. Its 'hair' is made up of single strands of pure gold, and it often stands still as a statue in its containment chamber. However, recordings have shown the creature being sentient, moving an inch and no more. Guards who patrol SCP-5974's chamber have also reported that on multiple occasions, the entity has wide eyes and an open mouth that made it look like it was in shock; yet the next minute, its expression is that of a peaceful one.

During a containment breach, SCP-XXXX was contained in its chamber like normal. It was then after the breach that scientists and researchers found out that the golden entity can only move when human eyes are off of it, and video recordings do not count. The Foundation provides SCP-XXXX with objects a teenager would deem interesting, yet it shows no signs of wanting anything to do with it. Though it appears to enjoy interacting with other docile SCP entities.

The entity is often in a hugging stance, its arms seemingly wrapped around something or someone. Reports have stated that SCP-XXXX can detect anything around it like a normal human, and can pick out whoever it deems worthy or 'fatherly'. If that person is to hug it, a barrier defends it from any attack from other SCPs. This entity was found in a large kingdom-like setting, which is really SCP-XXXX, a Thaumiel Class entity.
