Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 50x50x50 meter cube of tempered glass reinforced with steel. The cube is to be filled with a solution of 67% water and 33% unrefined sewage. Under no circumstances should there be less than 33% sewage in SCP-XXXX's containment tank. A 100 meter exclusion zone is to surround the cube, and no personnel are authorized to enter the exclusion zone without prior consent from site supervisors. No toilets or lavatories of any kind are to be within a 0.5 km radius of the containment unit, and all staff lavatory breaks are to be pre-approved. Supervisors are to be notified of any and all lavatory trips, and any lavatory in use must be guarded by no less than three (3) security personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a moderately-sized aquatic organism, measuring 2.28 meters in length. The specimen's head accounts for about half its length and three (3) quarters of its weight. SCP-XXXX also has various pores on its head and back that function in respiration, absorption of nutrients, and secretion of a bodily coating.
This coating appears to be a form of mucous, and exhibits extreme adhesive properties. The only substance known to dissolve or otherwise destroy this mucous is distilled water. As this mucous seems to be necessary for SCP-XXXX to function, distilled water is hazardous to its health.
SCP-XXXX has a large horn-like protrusion that grows from the base of its upper jaw. The specimen's mouth lacks teeth, and is instead filled with various pores. How SCP-XXXX consumes its prey is uncertain, although these pores are suspected to be involved.
Two small recesses are located midway down SCP-XXXX's skull on either side. These recesses contain small red cells that allow SCP-XXXX to sense the presence of any humans within a 100 meter radius.1 This sense is unimpeded by any object within the radius, and gives the specimen the ability to find prey even in zero-light conditions without fail. How it accomplishes this is unknown, however.
If SCP-XXXX is placed in a tank or pure water it will become extremely agitated and will attempt to break out of containment. After roughly twenty-five (25) minutes in distilled water, SCP-XXXX will stop moving and appear to lose consciousness. Removing the specimen from the water will revive it, remaining aggressive until there are no humans within a 100 meter radius. After this time, the specimen will return to a passive state.
SCP-XXX is able to feed on biological waste, with a preference for human excrement. The specimen is shown to be able to consume ███ kg of biological refuse within ██ minutes. SCP-XXXX seems to absorb nutrients through the pores on its skin, primarily through those in its mouth.
SCP-XXXX is a natural predator that feeds exclusively on humans. SCP-XXXX's head is able to appear from any toilet2 within a 100 meter radius of its current location that currently has a human sitting atop it. SCP-XXXX will then proceed to impale the rectum of its human victim using its facial horn. The adhesive mucous prevents the victim from becoming detached to SCP-XXXX, and the victim will be dragged into the toilet bowl and through the portal, presumably [DATA EXPUNGED] by SCP-XXXX. Human tissue is a dietary requirement for SCP-XXXX, in combination with biological waste. See Addendum XXXX-00
Observation has revealed that SCP-XXX is able to open and close spacial fissures at will, and uses this to capture its prey. These spacial fissures, however, are only able to be opened while a human sits upon a toilet, with the toilet seat in the down position and lid in the up position, within a 100 meter radius of SCP-XXXX. The spacial fissure seems to attach itself to the underside of the toilet seat, and testing has revealed that the fissures will disappear the instant the toilet seat is removed from the down position.
