Low sample rate photon capture of SCP-4260
Referred to below as "desktop_03-37-54.png"
Item #: SCP-4260
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4260 does no longer exist in any process on-site. All existing cases of SCP-4260 anomalies have been suspended or were shut down along with their host.
Description: SCP-4260 is a virtual anomaly which was discovered when developing neural ██████ powered by ████. It occurs when a certain process that utilizes proprietary algorithms is started. SCP-4260 affects behavior and potentially severely damages both any local and networked components, although how exactly remains unclear. It manifests visually from certain viewing angles of ██████ or ████████ passes. Because of this, SCP-4260 can potentially occur multiple times at once, or not at all. Due to the structure of memory chips used it is practically impossible to identify SCP-4260 in a natural, uncontrolled scenario. Technical experts suspect the overwhelmingly complex logical nature of SCP-4260 might be the reason for complications caused inside of any previously observed affected host. SCP-4260 first occurred at one of ████s underground development facilities during limited network testing. This prevented a large scale escalation of cases related to SCP-4260. SCP-4260 was replicated, suspended and quarantined on the following day for further in-house analysis.
Regrettably, on-site third party forces managed to erase almost all related data before an investigation could be started. The only recovered files are listed below.
