Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is an insane asylum located in ████, ██████, in the United States of America (USA). SCP-XXXX is to be guarded by no less than fifteen (15) Agents. two (2) must be stationed at each of the three (3) possible entrance to the compound. two (2) must be stationed at each of the three (3) entrances to SCP-XXXX itself, note that each guard standing near doors of the asylum have to be interchanged every hour to prevent the guards from getting urge to enter, the remaining five (5) guards will patrol the perimeter of the compound. If any personnel try to enter the compound they will be met with non-lethal force at first, if the personnel continues to try to enter SCP-XXXX they shall be met with lethal force. Three (3) cameras are to be mounted, one (1) for each entrance to SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX has the appearance of a former castle of english make and dated to around 15██. The castle itself resembles castle ████████ in ████████ it the United Kingdom (UK) SCP-XXXX appears to be a sentient being, SCP-XXXX emits a frequency, above what any terrestrial life form can comprehend without the use of machinery (see addendum-1 for details about the sound), out to the surrounding area and anybody exposed to the sound for two (2) hours (time can vary depending on the mental stability of the person exposed) will be tempted to enter SCP-XXXX. If the person succeeds in entering SCP-XXXX they will exit after a random period of time (the longest time recorded has been three (3) months) but they will be completely devoid of sanity and comprehension and will attack any and all life forms on the premises of SCP-XXXX, these shall be known as SCP-XXXX-1. the interior of SCP-XXXX has been mapped out by teams of d-class personnel, (they carried this out via not getting caught by the doctors and nurses who will take one away, insisting they are insane, and presumably remove their sanity there) there is an approximate of twenty-five (25) rooms and four (4) floors, SCP-XXXX is inhabited by a group of psychiatric doctors and nurses all of whom are wearing medical equipment and clothing from the 19██'s. It is not confirmed but SCP-XXXX may be feeding off of the sanity of those it takes in. If any part of SCP-XXXX is destroyed, it will instantly reform itself from the destroyed piece of itself.
Experiment-1:

Procedure: 5 security personnel will attempt to capture and bring back one SCP-XXXX-1 for the foundation to study
Results:
Subject D-169430 (male, 33, no discernable mental abnormalities) was instructed to enter the asylum and walk over to a doctor, after 2 days of waiting for D-169430, he re emerged as an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 and was sedated instantly and put into a transport van headed for site ██. Once arrived the security pulled the still sedated SCP-XXXX-1 out of the van. After being tested, the D-class’s brain was shown to be damaged and in places completely shut down, mainly in the places of the brain that control mood, emotions, cognitive thought and speech. After 12 hours of being in containment, D-169430’s heart stopped beating.
Cause of death: cardiac arrest
Note: this was helpful, we now know that the mental asylum changes the function of the human brain to essentially be insane. We also found that the effects of the “call” SCP-XXXX makes can be counteracted by wearing noise cancelling headphones and listening to full volume music, Agent ████ was rendered hard of hearing after using this method. Further tests will be conducted. -Dr. █████
Addendum-1: with the use of machinery, Dr. ████ found that the “call” that SCP-XXXX emits is similar to that of a whale’s song, specifically the female blue whale. however the sound is not completely similar, after approximately forty (40) seconds, the call changes to what sounds like a high pitched ringing sound, after exposing a D-class subject to the altered sound, the D-class subject tried to escape to SCP-XXXX after only three (3) minutes of listening. Further tests will be conducted.
Addendum-2: all experiments on SCP-XXXX will be stopped as of ██/██/20██ for safety cautions after all of the fifteen (15) guards and ten (10) SCP personnel within twelve (12) kilometers (seven miles) were drawn into SCP-XXXX, the nearby site ██ (note site was far away enough from SCP-XXXX to be drawn in) sent the majority of its security to the premises of SCP-XXXX to terminate all of the insane personnel in fear of a breach into the nearby village
Incident-1:
Guard ████ was exposed to SCP-XXXX’s “call” for too long and tried to get inside, agent ████ saw the guard try to get in and tried to non lethally incapacitate him, after being unsuccessful Agent ████ was forced to kill the guard.
Note: we need to be more careful. After this incident guards will be changed every forty-five (45) minutes until further notice. -Dr.████
