Special Containment Procedures: The entrance to this scp is through a backdoor of a former Publix, now converted into a containment site. It is to be monitored by any personnel level 1 and over. The instances of SCP 4804 however, are allowed to freely roam the facility. Dr. Bright is not allowed to enter the facility under any circumstance, due to an event that ended in more than half of the staff assigned to the site, ending up in the hospital due to Vitamin-c poisoning.

Description: SCP-4804 is a piece of territory behind a door of a previously abandoned Publix residing in Orlando, Florida. Entering through the door leads to a small village on what seems to be a tropical coast. Further testing and location tracking determined that this territory is not anywhere on earth, even though the plant and animal life is consistent with organisms found on earth. The village is populated by small humanoid natives ( hereafter declared SCP-4804-1) around 95 centimeters in height. Around the size of an average 4-5 year old human child, but with the proportions of a normal human adult.

SCP-4804-1’s who call themselves The Naranjitas; are non-hostile, and seem to be able to communicate in a mixture of english, portugese, and spanish. Interviews with them have uncovered that they have had previous contact with humans. It has been documented that multiple employees that previously worked at the Publix in question, had used the back door to get enhanced produce to sell, the most common form of vegetation traded were oranges, grapefruits, lemons, and watermelons. In return, the natives were given various forms of agricultural tools, fertilizers, and even taught how to sew and knit. The natives seemed grateful and even excited that the “tall ones”- referring to humans - have come back. The personnel tasked with the first exploration of 4804 were given small offerings, often in the form of consumables and clothing.

Biological examinations of The Naranjitas conclude that they have a higher content of vitamin-c in their blood. They have been determined to be sapient and have enhanced knowledge of agriculture and a surprisingly modern knowledge of raising cattle. 4804 does in fact have organisms that exclusively inhibit its territories. Such as an non-anomalous organism that seems to be a mix of a goat, cow, and a sheep. These organisms are raised for their hide/fur, meat, and milk. They are 84 centimeters in height and further interviews further state that these animals are a very important part of the society of The Naranjitas.

Addendum: With the discovery of SCP-4804, Testing on the enhanced vegetation of the natives have concluded that if an individual consumes this special vegetation they may experience the following; enhanced vision, better balance, increased stamina and clear skin. However, if an individual were to consume more than 3 fruits in under 25 hours, they may be at risk of severe injury or death due to a lethal amount of vitamin-c in their system. The Naranjitas are able to withstand large amounts of vitamin-c, hypothesized to have evolved because it is one of the main forms of sustenance available to all organisms within 4804.

Dr. Mason: Hello DATA EXPUNGED,my name is Dr. Mason. You are here in regards to your previous employment and association with the anomaly in question. We would like to start off by asking how did you discover SCP-4804?

DATA EXPUNGED: Well, uh i was working on restocking the chip aisle, when i remembered we had a new delivery of pringles arrive earlier that morning. I opened what I thought was the stock room but then I fell face first onto some sand. I was on some type of beach and I saw the doorway about 3 feet above me floating in midair.

Dr. Mason: Was there any label on the doorway before you went in? Perhaps a ‘no entry’ sign?

DATA EXPUNGED: I mean not really, we just got yelled at if we even asked what was inside it. I wasn't really paying attention and I must have opened the wrong door. The manager was a really shifty lookin’ dude, always having weird guys over in his office and making backdoor trades with them or someshit.

Dr. Mason: Interesting…Can you tell me about what happened after you fell into 4804?

DATA EXPUNGED: After i got a mouthful of sand, i looked around and saw some tiny little…huts? Whatever they were, they had the little dudes living in them. I think they saw me fall, because they came over to me and asked if I was ok. I was weirded out because they were super friendly. I was a giant compared to them, I imagined they would be a little more alarmed about some huge guy falling out of the sky but whatever. They gave me some clean water and a really tasty orange. I eventually got up into the doorway by dragging a big rock over and using it as a stool.

Dr. Mason: Was there any further contact with the natives after the original incident? Did the manager find out?

DATA EXPUNGED: I'm not sure man, I told my coworkers about it and they told me they traded stuff with the native so we could sell the good fruits and stuff. People went crazy over em’, they were our most popular product right next to alcohol.

Dr. Mason: you had no involvement in the trading afterward?

DATA EXPUNGED: Nah man,i dont wanna touch anything of that sort.

Closing Statement: After the interview the subject was amnestithised and returned home. An investigation was launched into the former manager of the site and he was quickly contained and charged for selling non FDA approved produce and not informing people of the risks of the vegetation in question. He was amnestithised as well and is now a working D-class at the foundation.

Contact with the natives is common and the foundation has a small lab inside 4804 dedicated to studying and preserving the wildlife of this SCP. This site is now used as a de-stresser for foundation personnel. The produce of 4804 is not to be transported outside the containment area and site around 4804 due to the lack of testing done with the fruit. The natives seem to be developing and expanding their territory and society with the help of the foundation. Further research is currently pending approval by the 05 council.
