Item #: XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Foundation-operated web analysis bot Psi-04 ("POWERHOUND") and remote power-source interceptor bot Lambda-03 ("DAWNBRINGER") are to be kept at constant operation. Designated technician team XXXX-TCH is asigned to constanly check Psi-04 and Lambda-03 for trigger events. Designated technicians team Psi-04-TCH and Lambda-03-TCH are to conduct a maintanance of each bot twice every week.

Psi-04 function is to constantly search on every device with access to the Internet for instances of SCP-XXXX-1 on SCP-XXXX-2. Upon flagging SCP-XXXX-2, Lambda-03 is to triangulate the position of said instance and force a power source failure on the zone.

In the event that SCP-XXXX-1 failed to be intercepted by Lambda-03, XXXX-TCH is to notify site director for inmediate reatrival of the subject or SCP-XXXX-3. A foundation strike team, armed with standard gear, is to be sent for the task. Class A amnestics are to me administrated to any individuals who came in contact with SCP-XXXX-3, and/or a cover story is to be made to excuse the dissapearence of the subject.

SCP-XXXX-3 instances are to be factory resetted. Further analysis has determined that SCP-XXXX-3 instances return to their normal functions once this is done, and can be returned to their respective owners. SCP-XXXX-1 has yet not manifested itself on an posterirly affected device.

As of the events described on Event SCP-XXXX.1, SCP-XXXX-3 instances are to be kept on a foundation dedicated storage and interaction with internal device memory of SCP-XXXX-3 is forbidden. The storage of SCP-XXXX-3 instances is to be monitored by 3 security cameras powered with a built-in rechargable batery. Recordings are to be checked weekly for any anomaly.

Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is an anomaly that manifest itself on any technological device (now to be called SCP-XXXX-2) with access to the Internet, excluding mobile devices or otherwise devices not connected to a power source. SCP-XXXX-1 replaces any link used on SCP-XXXX-2. If any individual attempts to use a link on SCP-XXXX-2, device will suffer a forced restart. From this point on, said individual will be refered to as the subject. If SCP-XXXX-2 suffers a forced restart not related to a human individual attemping to use the item, SCP-XXXX-1 will cease to be present on the device, effectively preventing further subjects. This includes the initial use of the subject.

SCP-XXXX-2 manifest an anomalous amonunt of energy usage (negative energy, on some cases as high as 4.2MW). Said information is used by Psi-04 to search for instances. Power source failures1 instantly restart SCP-XXXX-2, allowing Lambda-03 prevent the creation of SCP-XXXX-3. Since the discovery of SCP-XXXX-1, only 1 event has derivated on the origination of SCP-XXXX-3.

Little is known on what happens after the subject actiaves a SCP-XXXX-1 instance. See Event SCP-XXXX.1.

SCP-XXXX-3 is the next device that the subject used after becoming in contact with SCP-XXXX-22. After the events that happen beetween both instances, subject will be missing and only SCP-XXXX-3 will be found.

SCP-XXXX-3 is identical in function to the original device, with an exception. Devices that were capable of information storage show a new folder on the main storage page. Said folder's name is the entirity of the name of the subject and is constantly changing the size of the information within it3. Inside it, there are multiple media archives depiciting most of the subject life, as well as multiple .txt files that resemble the subject thoughts. There are a single .exe file inside the folder, named uninstall.exe. Executing said file will cause SCP-XXXX-3 to restart, and after that the folder will no longer be present.
