Front cover of SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP - xxxx
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard anomalous items locker with a simple 4-digit combination lock located in Site-11. Any interactions of SCP-XXXX must be approved by one Level-3 personnel member.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 30cm x 30cm hardcover scrapbook that is tan in colour with no design on either the front or back covers. A black ribbon tied into a bow holds SCP-XXXX closed and found to have no anomalous properties to it. Inside are blank Polaroid's seeming to be fused onto the pages. Polaroids are either 600 or SX-70 film based off size and shape but cannot be fully determined
When SCP-XXXX is opened by an individual their full name is printed on the first page upon first opening. The previously blank Polaroid photos will be replaced from snapshots of what is confirmed to be the individual's own memories ranging from birth all the way to present day. Additionally to a subject’s own name appears on the first page when held, the number of pages themselves change to match their current age. How SCP-XXXX gains knowledge of an individual's current age, name, and history without any sign of sentience or telepathy is unclear.
SCP-XXXX seem's to show only original memories and will not show any altered or otherwise 'erased' memories due to repression, trauma, or forgotten memories due to the use of amnestics. (See Addendum XXXX-A for further details.)
Addendum XXXX-A: On 04/12/████ Dr.██████ and her assistant Researcher █████ were granted permission to handle SCP-XXXX. Dr. ██████ who had no known past mental issues at the time became unsettled half way through. When questioned Dr. ██████ pointed to one of the photos stating "I don't remember this ever happening." After her assistant researcher stated seeing nothing there but blank photos Dr.██████ sets down SCP-XXXX and begins describing an accurate detailed encounter with SCP-███. Dr.██████ and her assistant were given minimal dosage of class A amnestics. Dr.██████ has not shown any other signs of emotional distress.
