Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a standard 3x3x3 meter cell, with walls of 8-centimeter concrete. One camera is to be trained on SCP-3326 at all times. All physical forms are to be recorded and the files kept near the cell, with a backup on Foundation servers. Only staff with Level 2 Clearance and higher are to be allowed access to these files and SCP access.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be one of any common household objects, with the only similarity between them being the words "Common Object Inc." printed somewhere on the object. The size of this logo varies according to the current object. The object changes form every 4 hours, 27 minutes, and 42 seconds.

Any attempts to make a permanent modification to this object have been unsuccessful. If broken into multiple pieces, at the time of morphing the extra pieces will disappear and the one with the largest volume will change. Any marks left on SCP-XXXX will disappear upon morphing. If an item is placed inside SCP-XXXX, the item will be pushed out and as a result possibly destroyed.

This SCP was discovered and taken into Foundation custody on 05-██-19██. It was found in the apartment of a deceased man in ████████. The death of the tenant seemed to be unrelated to SCP-XXXX's anomalous nature. Its form was reported to have changed multiple times by local police, who were administered Class-B amnestics upon Foundation arrival. Aside from this, there have been no reports of this object anywhere else.

Test XXXX-A: A D-Class was instructed to put his hand into a partially disassembled SCP-XXXX in the form of a radio. It soon morphed into a knife block, exactly at the time expected. His hand was almost instantaneously pushed out of the solid parts of the knife block, crushing them to an extreme extent. Pieces of his fingers were visible in the slots of the knife block.
