Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Amoebaeus

Special Containment Procedures: Nothing of value may be shared with SCP-XXXX without O5 approval.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the sole member of the O5 Council from Timeline 2008-MDX.

Overview of Timeline 2008-MDX:

Timeline 2008-MDX split from our current timeline as a result of an extratemporal influence resulting in the December 21, 2008 containment failure of SCP-231-7. The resulting incident led to approximately between 15,000,000 and 20,000,000 civilian casualties, 1530 Foundation casualties (including O5-3), the loss of secrecy for the timeline's Foundation, and the weakening of temporal stability in an area centered on Provisionary Site-231.3

After showing exemplary leadership during Incident 231-7-2008, Doctor Lyuda Sun was promoted from Director of Site-11 to the O5 Council, taking the place of the deceased O5-3.4

Addendum XXXX-A: Doctor Sun's Letter of Retirement
The following is the prime timeline's retirement announcement by Doctor Sun, delivered to the O5 council on April 10, 2009, and approved for sitewide release on April 13, 2009.

My colleagues and friends,
I am announcing my retirement from the Foundation, effective this October. I know this may be a surprise for many of you, but it is something that I have been mulling over. It is not that I have not enjoyed these five years working as Site Director to such admirable personnel: in fact, I intend to keep in touch with many of you. My retirement is a result of the confidence I have that the fine people of Site-11 will thrive with or without my involvement. I joined the Foundation as a necessity: I could not stand idly by while humanity was under threat. However, throughout my 22 years here, I have come to realize that as long as this reality stands, the Foundation will too: and as long as the Foundation stands, humanity will too. Some of you may think this foolish: how can I be so confident in the face of the arsenal of anomalies we see every day? It is because I believe that every one of you has become more than the classic limitations of humanity would deem possible. As I always say, I wear the title "Doctor" instead of "Site Manager" because it feels unnatural for me to outrank many of you.

I leave to pursue life as I wish as opposed to how I must. The existence of humanity is safe without my additional input: I desire now to improve the quality of that existence. I have successfully negotiated to keep my Foundation email address after my retirement: I am always be happy to provide advice or just talk.

All the best,
-Doctor Sun.
