Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained at a standard stable at Bio-Site-66. The organism is fed 450 kg. of wheat and hay and 2 L of clean, cold water daily. The organism is taken outside of its stable for a run at least once a week.

Personnel taking SCP-XXXX for a run must return it to its stable after 1 hour (See Description for more details). If personnel are reported missing after a run, SCP-XXXX is released to retrieve the missing person, a tracking device is attached to its back for constant monitoring of the organism. In the case of SCP-XXXX not returning to its stable on its own, MTF Epsilon-6 "Village Idiots" are sent to a nearby rural village to retrieve the organism.

SCP-XXXX no longer visits the old farm after Adams passing

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Clydesdale Horse (Equus Caballus). The organism's behavior is the same as a non-anomalous Clydesdale. but its sense of direction is fixated on 2 geographical points, one is the stable it's contained in, the other is its location of discovery.

SCP-XXXX doesn't go back to its farm. It stays in its stable, only going out for runs or for medical examination.

The organism displays several anomalous properties:

  • When it's being ridden for 2 hours, the rider slowly decays, beginning with the skin and ending with the bones.
    • This effect increases the speed of decay depending on the number of people surrounding it.
  • If it is fixated on a single geographical point, all other effects are neutralized.
  • The organism can run up to 200 km/hr and can jump 3 meters high at maximum speed.
  • The organism's schedule aligns with the Foundations work schedule, replacing work with sleep.

Addendum: Discovery: SCP-XXXX with given up to the Foundation by its owner, former Researcher Carl Adams, Adams provided all the information regarding the organism and it's anomalous effects after an incident (See Incident: XXXX.1) in which a child decayed. Before SCP-XXXX was in Foundation custody, Adams whispered into the organism's ear, when asked about this, Adams doesn't answer.

Every time the organism comes back to this village, Adams regains all memories of SCP-XXXX and the Foundation, no matter how much amnestics the Foundation uses. And each time Adams whispers to its ear. Adams never stated what he is whispering until his passing in 11/29/18 where a note was given to MTF Epsilon-6.

I guess my time is up, I leave ol' Debutante to Sam Carson Pepper as they are the only other ones that Debbie likes, by the way Sam, the words I whispered to Debbie are the only things that keep her calm, it's a spell I learned when I found her, it's on the other side of this paper. Please keep Debbie as a pet and take care of her in my absence.

Adams' son didn't know a Sam Carson Pepper when his father passed. The Epsilon-6 leader said that he was Sam and took SCP-XXXX into custody. The chant on the other side of the paper in restricted only to personnel taking care of SCP-XXXX. When Carl passed away, SCP-XXXX made a total of 7 runs back to the farm.

Addendum: Incident XXXX.1: The following is the story that the owner told Foundation personnel. This is the shortened version with only the important bits.

Date & Time: 11/15/18 10:00

Adams runs a small horse riding farm in █████ and put a large no riding sign on SCP-XXXX. After he opened up the farm, a lady and a small boy entered through the gate and immediately approaches SCP-XXXX.

Her caretaker at the time apologized and said that she couldn't be ridden as she's sick the mother ignores this and pushes her away, SCP-XXXX lays down and eats some hay. "See, she's tired, there are plenty of other horses are they're way faster than she is." the caretaker says. The two walk away. Adams was supposed to take her place when he saw that the gate was open and SCP-XXXX was missing.

Adams hears someone screaming "You're doing great, honey!", he looks over and sees the small boy on top of SCP-XXXX as she was freaking out, Adams was yelling the chant he uses to calm down SCP-XXXX, but the mother was blocking him out with complements to her son. SCP-XXXX was running in circles for 30 minutes.

Adams was screaming at the top of his lungs to try to calm down SCP-XXXX, but to no effect. His assistants were to busy calming down the other horses as they didn't know about the organisms abilities.

After another 30 minutes, the kid starts screaming and crying, the child's skin starts turning black and Adams pointed this out to the mother, but she said that he jealous that her son is riding his horse and he isn't, Adams pointed at the child as his lower back was turning black, the mother ignored this.

Adams took the phone and called the Foundation. He waited another hour, there was blood, bits of muscle and tissue everywhere. SCP-XXXX rests and the kid falls off, everyone rushes over and the rate decay speeds up, what remained was a small skeleton, everyone was given amnestics, Adams whispered the chant into SCP-XXXX's ear before Foundation personnel took the anomaly away.

Researcher Adams never told Foundation personnel regarding SCP-XXXX's origins or how he knew of its effects.
