CSBGENESIS

Item#:SCP-XXXX

Object Class:Keter

Special Containment Procedures:colonies of SCP-XXXX are to be captured, studied, and handled with extreme caution, whereas SCP-XXXX-1 are to be terminated upon sight1.

Colonies of SCP-XXXX are to be stored in standard glass containers normally used for containing non-anomalous microbes. The containers are to be stored in brightly lit2 rooms and must never be turned off at all costs.See Revision XXXX-1

Tests involving SCP-XXXX in poorly lit3 rooms are forbidden unless agreed by at least one(1) personnel with level 3 clearance.

Description:SCP-XXXX is a strain of bacteria-like microorganisms which live in colonies of 15-30 microbes. Has 3 existing color variants, being red, yellow, and green4. SCP-XXXX would normally reproduce in dry, cool environments like normal bacteria. Reproduction of SCP-XXXX is usually associated with a mass production of biofilm5. When SCP-XXXX's biofilm come into contact with other living cells it will make said cell lose its adherence to the cells around it. When met with one celled organisms SCP-XXXX's biofilm will encase it, usually rendering them immobile6 until an uncertain period of time.

Colonies of SCP-XXXX will continue behaving in the manners explained above until exposed to darkness or if kept in a dimly lit room for long periods of time, in which SCP-XXXX will reproduce extremely rapidly, an event designated as the "Nightfall""Nightbreak" event7 and after a certain amount of time colonies of SCP-XXXX will manifest into an amorphous entity formed of their own mass. This entity is designated as SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is an amorphous humanoid entity which manifests in the "Nightbreak" event. It produces mass amounts of biofilm
