Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4073 is to be manned with a staff of 200 Foundation personel. The staff is to be comprised mainly of engineers, physicists, astrophysiscists, and chemists. Additional D-Class personel are to be assigned here for custodial purposes. Each day the head scientist is to send a report to Lunar Area-32 which is then to be sent back to Earth for filing purposes.
Description: SCP-4073 is a large military installment located in the Mare Fecunditatis. It was discovered by personel from Lunar Area-32 on an exploration of the moons surface. The complex is pitch black, seemingly so that it is camoflauged in the shadow of the moon with the only apparent feature being three white crescent moons and the inscription: YOU ARE WATCHED • YOU ARE PROTECTED • YOU ARE LOVED. The interior of the bases includes spacious living quarters for 43 individuals, all 43 of these living quarters and the items contained within imply that the occupants were human, if not humanoid. How these 43 humans would have gotten to the moon and established this base is unknown. The focal point of this base is the large gauss cannon with a barrel length of 50 meters and a diameter of 1 meter.
