Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object class: Keter Apollyon

Containment procedures: Currently there are no known ways to fully contain SCP-XXXX, seeing as SCP-XXXX’s ability to anomalously transfer to a different location has yet to show any limitation. When SCP-XXXX’s location is identified a 15-25 meter area around SCP-XXXX is to be closed off to civilians, with guards stationed for all hours of the day.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid statue approximately 2 meters in height resembling a caricature of the grim reaper, weight and material of the statue are yet to be acquired. SCP-XXXX’s main anomalous property is that any living organism or machinery that comes within 10 14 meters of SCP-XXXX die via anomalous means, examination of the deceased show that all bones and internal organs are replaced with a material currently hypothesised to be the same material SCP-XXXX is made out of. SCP-XXXX additionally has the ability to transfer to any place on earth, though it is hypothesised that SCP-XXXX can only do this once twice every 30 days.

Addendum: All animal species and sentient SCP subjects try to distance themselves from SCP-XXXX, why this phenomena occurs is yet unknown.

ATTENTION, ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING SCP-XXXX REQUIRES 04 LEVEL CLEARANCE OR HIGHER.

04 CLEARANCE REGISTERED, WELCOME DR.██████

Additional information: SCP-XXXX’s anomalous properties are seemingly increasing in severity, when SCP-XXXX was found by foundation personnel █ years ago it’s ‘’zone of death’’ has increased by 2 meters for every year, and the rate at which SCP-XXXX transfers itself to another location has increased onefold. SCP-XXXX is considered to be able to cause an eventual XK-Class Mass extinction event where all life on earth ceases to exist. There are currently two propositions to avoid said event. The first proposition is the termination of SCP-XXXX, which is currently being tested. The second proposition is the colonisation of other planets, seeing as SCP-XXXX’s ability to transfer is confined to earth (we hope).
