SCP-XXXX - Death's Dog
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 20 x 20 x 5 meter reinforced steel-plated room with calm lighting and a soft carpet. The room has to be checked for any damage
biweekly and SCP-XXXX has to then be escorted to temporary containment. It is to be fed 1kg of any kind of meat every day. This has been shown to significantly decrease chances of it transforming into SCP-XXXX-1. 4 cameras (in each top corner of the room) are to be used to monitor SCP-XXXX and if it has transformed. SCP-XXXX is to be checked to see if it has any medical problems once a month by Dr. █████ or
Dr. ██████ (subject to change). SCP-XXXX is contained at Site-██.
Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a normal domesticated Border Collie. He was contained when SCP-XXXX-1 was sighted on security camera feed in a supermarket in ██████, murdering people. SCP-XXXX is virtually indestructible. Subjects report that they are unable to attack him, as if some kind of force was blocking them. He is usually calm and paces around his containment area during the day, while he rests during the night. He does not require consumption of fluids.
SCP-XXXX-1 is identical to SCP-XXXX, except for the colour of its eye pupils which turn bright red. SCP-XXXX transforms into SCP-XXXX-1 seemingly at random intervals. No patterns have been yet sighted as to predict when SCP-XXXX-1 will appear. SCP-XXXX-1 is extremely aggresive and will attempt to breach containment as soon as it appears. This has caused countless casualties and O5 has accepted a request to terminate SCP-XXXX as soon as possible. However, SCP-XXXX-1 has shown a significant aversion to steel.
Addendum XXXX-01: Whoever looks at SCP-XXXX directly in the eyes, will disappear. They will reappear 5 minutes later in the exact spot they were before disappearing. They will proceed to warn any people around them that Death is coming. 24 hours later they will disappear again, this time forever. Request to test this ability is currently pending.
