I don't appreciate receiving dozens of letters from snot-nosed brats who were just craving a biscotti. - Dr. F. █████

Description:

SCP-XXXX, colloquially known as "The Biscotti Hut" is a seemingly non-anomalous unnamed baker's shop located at 1305 █████ █████ Road in ████████, PA. The shop is measured to be ~15.24m long (50 feet) and ~19.81m (65 feet) wide and constructed of wood of varying age and type. The store is somewhat ramshackle but appears to be completely structurally sound regardless.
The interior of the shop consists of several handmade racks and shelving which are consistently stocked with a wide selection of fresh biscotti, pies, donuts, cakes, and other pastries. No counter is present in the store nor does anyone seem to actually *work* at said store. There is a small wooden box with a ~7x2cm hole cut out of the top. The box itself is ~15x9x20cm and made of what appears to be several older or 'junk' pieces of plywood nailed together. Despite its construction, the box appears to be perfectly sealed with no way of viewing the interior from any method besides the hole at the top. Alongside the hole is a keyhole which appears to have the ability to, once unlocked, open the box. No success at picking the lock or opening the box has been made as of yet See incident log XXXX-2.
There is a sign on top of the door identifying the hours of the shop as "6:15AM - 8PM". Any attempt to enter SCP-XXXX prior to its opening and after its closing (at roughly 8:00PM depending on the presence of any customers) has been met with failure. At 'closing time', once all customers have left the store the doors will autonomously close and lock themselves. After 8:30PM, subjects who remain inside reported feelings of severe drowsiness, anxiousness, or another amplified version of a feeling already affecting them. Sometimes, personnel affected this way have been coerced by a being (known as SCP-XXXX-1) to leave the store. There have been varying reports of the identity of SCP-XXXX-1 - reports consistently place the entity as a "plain-looking female" who "walked out from behind the counter" and "asked (them) politely to leave".
At precisely 6:15AM every morning, the store opens and the stock of pastries are completely replenished. Older pastries are either not present or somehow preserved overnight in a way that makes them appear to be fresh, testing is inconclusive. Customers are expected to estimate the price of their purchase after selecting products they'd like to purchase and deposit said amount into the box at the back of the store. Failure to do so typically results in an event similar to the one in incident log XXXX-1.
