Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6703 is to be kept in a large, heavily reinforced, 1 meter thick, depleted uranium cell filled entirely with mercury. 1 meter of reinforced steel plates shall cover the outside of the cell. Heavy reinforcements should always be added and maintained on a biweekly bases. If a containment breach occurred, all of SCP-6703 should be terminated with or forced back into its containment cell with flamethrowers and other high temperature weapons.
Description: SCP-6703 is a black, parasitic entity that can infect or "corrupt" almost any form of matter by simply touching it. the only apparent exceptions are dense elements being gold or heavier, and super heated plasma. individuals who come into contact with SCP-6703 will slowly be "corrupted". Corrupted individuals, also known as SCP-6703-1, will act as zombies, attacking anything that moves. However, SCP-6703-1 will sometimes be broken down and merged with what appears to be some sort of central intelligence which calls itself the "Keymind".
SCP-6703 is mostly black. it appears to convert all mater in contact with it into some form of carbon, as a byproduct, different sized, neon yellow crystals form, composed entirely of neutrons. However, these crystals are extremely volatile. harvesting of these crystals is impossible as anything that comes into contact with them also get corrupted.
SCP-6703 is hyper intelligent and appears to have a collective intelligence, the more mass SCP-6703 consumes, the more intelligent it becomes. It is so intelligent that it is able to solve any problem or overcome any obstacle with relative ease. it's physical capabilities are incredible, showing extreme strength and adaptability, tearing large segments out of it's cell at a time with little effort and creating what it calls "pure forms" that do what it wishes.
SCP-6703-1 are zombie like entities that appear to have many forms. the main forms we have seen are standard humanoid instances. a short, armless entity with a large hole in the front which appears to fire extremely sharp corrupted crystals at high velocity, ranging from 100 to 300 kph. another form is a headless, bulky, and incredibly strong entity that has been proven to be extremely durable, surviving heavy weapons such as anti-tank missiles and sustained 50 caliber machinegun fire. however, weapons such as flamethrowers and other extreme temperature weapons have proven to be highly effective. all instances of SCP-6703-1 share similar traits, namely the split mandible, SCP-6703 covering most of the body, and neon yellow eyes with a cat like pupil and no iris.
