Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-5468, it cannot be contained. All events that are possibly related to SCP-5468 must be monitored by foundation personnel. Any survivors of SCP-5468 must be provided with amnestics. Tracking SCP-5468 via tracking device has been proved to be impossible. If SCP-5468 is removed from a house before the manifestation of scp-5468-1 the events will be effectively halted. Any attempts to contain SCP-5468 have led to the anomalous disappearance of the object.
Description: SCP-5468 is a piece of paper containing a crude drawing, approximately 33cm x 12cm. The condition of the paper has lead researchers to believe it is likely from the early 1950s or 1960s.
SCP-5468 will randomly appear in a household with two or more children under the age of 6. It will often appear stuck on a refrigerator or taped on to a wall. When the adults of the house notice the drawing they will assume it was made their children. SCP-5468's anomalous properties will not manifest at this time
One week after the appearance of SCP-5468, SCP-5468-1 will manifest inside the house. SCP-5468-1 is a tall slender humanoid with dark black skin, the exact measurements of SCP-5468-1 are unknown. Once SCP-5468-1 has manifested in the house it will be seen navigating the house, scratch marks and stains will be seen on the walls of the house. This will cause the members of the family to experience increasing anxiety and paranoia.
Two weeks after the appearance of SCP-5468 the youngest child of the house will go missing. At this point SCP-5468-1 will be seen walking with and holding the hand of the missing child. These instances will usually only affect the parents.
Three weeks after the appearance of SCP-5468 the remaining children and SCP-5468 will go missing. The voices of the children will often echo through the house but cannot be traced. These instances will increase the stress and paranoia in the afflicted adults.
During these events SCP-5468-1 will seemingly kill any occupants of a house that it doesn't believe to be part the immediate family.
Note: No interviews with victims of the SCP-5468 events have conducted because of the severe psychotic state of the victims. The location of the missing children is yet unknown.
Addendum-a: SCP-5468 was first discovered in the year 19█ after reports of 10 children in an orphanage going missing and two night guards having been violently murdered.
