Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4452 is to be secured in a 6m x 6m x 6m containment zone. All walls, ceilings, and floors must be constructed with titanium, with a width of approximately 1.2m. The entrance is to be a single, titanium door with a width of 5cm. Two electromagnetic neodymium plates with a diameter of 1m are to be welded onto the center of the ceiling and floor. Electrical components are to be installed to control and operate the magnets. The containment zone is to be kept over 150C or higher, no lower.
SCP-4452 is to be suspended mid-air between the two magnets, should be monitored at all times by a surveillance camera. The object must be at least 30cm off the floor. The barrel of SCP-4452 must be turned away from the entrance of the containment zone. SCP-4452 is to be returned to its containment area if found outside the containment zone. Any electrical outages or containment zone hardware issues must be reported and repaired immediately.
Any interaction with SCP-4452 must be approved by a Level 3 Scientist. Communication cannot last for more than 2 hours. Firing the object manually is prohibited, and must be reported if attempted.

Description: Contained in Site-██. Origin is at of yet unknown. At first glance, SCP-4802 appears to be a standard American M249 light machine gun constructed out of an unknown material. This material is believed to be nearly invulnerable. The object seems to have an unlimited ammo capacity, despite its magazine having finite measurements. How this works is unknown. The object can fire at 50 times the fire rate of a standard AWP, and it does not require any outside interaction to do so. SCP-4452 can only be visible from certain angles; viewing it from certain angles will cause the object to seamlessly appear and reappear into existence in the vision of the viewer. SCP-4452 is also sentient, and is capable of speech though and unknown mechanism. Its intelligence surpasses most people on the planet, and it appears to have knowledge of other contained objects, such as SCP-███. How it knows this is unknown. SCP-4452 is very hostile. Objects in contact with SCP-4452 are dematerialized at an rapid speed, rubber seems to be resistance to this.
Rounds fired from SCP-4452 are standard 5.56mm rounds, however, they periodically create distortions and tears in fabric space. The size of these tears are random, and the time at which they are created are random. These tears can be entered by any entity, and it is reported that SCP-4452 uses this mechanism as a method of transportation. It is theorized the object can control the size and creation time of each distortion. SCP-4452 has been known to enter these anomalies for a prolonged period of time, around 3-6 hours, and then reappearing to the same location it disappeared from. Why and where it travels is unknown, but it is theorized it enters a pocket dimension.
SCP-4452 is believed to use these tears in reality to breach its containment Being in temperatures of 140C or higher seem to reduce its fire rate drastically, thus restricting the number of tears being created. This does not prevent SCP-4452 from firing.
