SCP 5051: Age-us Clock
Description: This small pocket watch is about 6 inches from side to side. Rusted Silver laced with gold makes up the case. Embedded in the surface of the watch are 4 Diamonds and 4 Rubies. These are the most pure and reflective gems in existence. On the back are a set of initials, "T.K." Even in the dark, the gems will glow, attracting unwary passerbys. A crystalline chain allow hangs the clock from thin air. Floating above the pedestal, is will swing back and forth, further increasing the attraction from anyone near.
Effect: Whenever within 50 ft. of the object, you will hear a loud ticking sound. A small voice will follow with," The only way to stop it is to open the cover." Only one person can be affected at a time by the ticking effect. Many have been driven insane. Whenever the affected subject gives into the voice, the will proceed to go and open the lid. Inside, the broken clock hypnotizes them. After 10 seconds of direct eye contact with the face of the clock, The hands will start spinning extremely fast. The person will either become older, only stopping when they would be 99, or going back till they are only 1 years old. This depends on which way the clock spins.

Day 1: We were walking through the REDACTED forest on our way home from a Top Secret Assignment. We were passing a large hollow tree, and that is when it started. An uncanny ticking began in my head. At first I thought it was exhaustion from many days of travel, but then a voice denied this claim. A little girl, in the back of my thoughts, whispered to open the front of the clock. Then, the holes in the hollowed tree began to radiate light. I ran towards it, fascinated and desperate to stop the ticking. Inside was a small pocket watch no bigger than half dollar. It yanked it off the pedestal where it sat. I was going to make it ….
HELP: The doctors been ranting for days now about how the beauty is only for him. He won't talk directly to us, he only yells unintelligible rambling nonsense or mutters about the watch. There was a lock on the front, which he constantly talked to about keeping him from powers beyond greatness. I sent a radio transmission for help, hopefully they can solve this.
Day 4: Help was sent earlier today, but won't arrive till a few hours. The doctors quiet ramblings have become screams of desperation and ranting only god understands. He has become more violent, smacking his head against the tree screaming 'TIK TOK TIK TOK, THIS -CENSORED- TICKING WON'T STOP. BANG BANG LET CHAOS RAIN. END THIS SUFFERING IN MY BRAIN!!!' I not only fear for his life, but mine as well. 3 hours later Support shows up and detains him. We carefully secure the Pocket watch in a level 2 security briefcase made specifically for it. We load the helicopter and exit the --REDACTED— forest.

Current State: Since then the lock mysteriously just opened, making opening this Pandora's box even easier. The Watch is being held in REDACTED. An orphan murder was introduced to the clock once Doctor Konnor passed, and then heavily restrained, so no other are affected. This the clock still eludes people to open it, but without a direct influence of its insanity "feature" it is less "Persuasive." It is locked in a caged class cabinet with and electric fence around it. Once REDACTED, the Murder, dies, we will have to replace him, but luckily we have a few in line. Still need to find who "T.K" is, but that is all the info we have for now.
Final Note- NEVER, EVER, EVER OPEN THE LID. WHEN IT IS OPENED, ALL ENTITIES AROUND IT EITHER AGE TO A STATE NEAR DEATH, OR TO AN INFANCY STAGE. DUE TO ITS HYPNOSTIC QUALITIES, SHUTTING IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE. KEEP CLOSED AT ALL COSTS!!!
