Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4892 is to be kept in a titanium reinforced safe requiring a numerical code that is to be changed each week. One guard is to be stationed outside SCP-4892's containment cell. Level 3 access is needed to experiment with SCP-4892.
Description: SCP-4892 is a substance taking on a form similar to cheese. However, the current chemical composition of SCP-4892 is unknown. SCP-4892 has the unique ability to reach a gaseous or liquid state according to required levels needed for such states. SCP-4892 also is able to regenerate lost pieces of itself in case the original block is harmed. If the block is lost, SCP-4892 will be unable to regenerate.1 The most extraordinary factor of SCP-4892 is the ability to make anomalous objects non-anomalous for a period of 24 hours. SCP-4892 is currently being used to create a more effective decontamination gas for use in transport and during containment breaches. SCP-4892 was discovered during a GOC assisted raid of a Marshal, Carter, and Dark warehouse. SCP-4892's effects were mentioned in a note on SCP-4892's container. Currently, 3 GOIs have shown need of SCP-4892's effects, these groups are [DATA EXPUNGE].

| SCP-173 | SCP-4892 is sprayed into SCP-173's containment cell. Despite not being observed, SCP-173 does not move at all. No noises are heard from SCP-173's cell until the 24 hour period has passed. |

| An instance of SCP-049-2 | Subject vital signs ceased for 2 hours, then vital signs resumed and Subject began vomiting large amounts of fecal matter. Fecal matter contained signs of Stomach Flu. The subject reverted back to human form after the 24-hour period had ceased. SCP-049 commented that those exposed to SCP-4892 "did not have the pestilence." However, transformation was 90% lethal due to dehydration. |
