Critical Information: Each SoUmbra has been contained using a different method based on its qualities and weaknesses: Beta, Gamma, Delta, Épsilon and Psí have been contained at a facility on the province of Quassar, ██████, under the management of AI-LEEN. They have been secluded at different cells with luxometers and electromagnetic fields, adaptable to the need of each subject.
Each creature has been qualified and registered depending on the different wavelength and frequency of light they require to be contained, therefore it is impossible to keep them together. The mixture between two or more different SoU could be lethal for officers and staff.
IE: If you expose SOU_Beta to the same frequency of SoU_Gamma,
SoU_Beta would instantly dissipate.

Description: The Source of Umbra (SoUmbra or SoU) exist in different classes, all of them following the same pattern of a photon-consuming system to keep it alive.
The SoUmbra, independent of its class, contains a heart-like core inside its body, where it stores an infinite light-source in the form of a photon-based material called [CLASSIFIED], the light cannot be seen most of the time unless the subject is willing to. The actual material that its body leaks is yet to be discovered, but it is supposed to consume the immense amount of light that it produces, irradiating temperatures up to 1000K.
There are several types of SoUmbras discovered across the globe, all the data being delivered and immediately stored into AI-LEEN for further investigation.
Update: According to a recent study from AI-LEEN, the subjects: SoU-Α, SoU-Β, SoU-Γ, SoU-Θ, and SoU-Ψ are allegedly able to mimic human sounds, it can lead its prey to dark territory.

The first SoU-Α or Alfa has been recently contained, it's being put under study in █████, Japan.
New data is being uploaded and downloaded from AI-LEEN:

Subject: SCP-XXXX-Α / Alfa
Procedure: Containment and studies are still being monitored by Dr. Maruti Makushi.
Results: Tried to reach to other SoU. The magnetic field has been upped to 130% its power.
Analysis: While the Alfa seemed lost when it entered the facility, it almost freed the rest of the SoU. A new room has been upgraded to control it. Further analysis is being required.
Notes: Personnel has been killed on breach while Alfa was being captured.

Description: The Alfa is a supposed-to-exist SoU, while not enough information has been collected to make a clear investigation on its power and weakness, we can assume that Alfa has the ability to control others SoU as it pleases. To be confirmed.

SoU-Β - Beta

Special Containment Procedures: The SoU-Β is being monitored on a pitch-black cell, the exposure of Beta to visible light would make it disappear.
Staff can read Beta's internal heat signature through thermal vision, yet not everyone on the facility can make visual contact with it. It does not require feeding, but it will try to eat any source of heat outside of itself.
Description: Beta is a humanoid-like SoU, it does not possess any lower extremities. It's studied that the subject in question has a density lower than air, therefore making it propel against the Earth's natural magnetism to seemingly float.
It possesses blade-shaped arms that, after intense studies, it is not clear its main use. Further investigation required.

After my first discovery, on ██/██, a class C personnel made contact with SoU-Β-002. They could see the subject without any equipment and zero visible light. The Class C personnel was consumed alive by the subject, burning the skin of the employee on-touch.
The SoU-Β has a body temperature of 150°C on average, and physical contact must be avoided.
SoU-Γ - Gamma or Tanque

Special Containment Procedures: SoU-Γ has been our main focus for scientific research, therefore its cell has been designated onto ██████. While it is resilient to UV light, higher frequencies destroy it without leaving a trace, it is being secluded at a crystalline cell made out of █████ for maximum resistance.
SoU-Γ has destroyed three different cells and put under a transparent ceiling for higher sunlight.
Description: SoU-Γ (also known as Gammas or Tanques) are the most resistant and strongest of any SoU confirmed. They are the easiest to contain, the first of them being at ████████, Argentina, followed by intense study and research at the hands of Dr. Miguel Gonzales.
Gammas possess muscle-like fibers that form its extremities. While its body temperature is the lowest, making it easier to further study on its composition. The subject height is 2.██m, while its density is higher than any human-like being.
The subject is not seen as a threat unless exposed to high-frequency light, sunlight is the best way to contain it. While making it angry, Sun makes Gamma weaker.
Notes: SoU-Γ-001 (known as Tanque) has been sent to Quassar's Military Base and Containment Facility to further study.

SoU-Δ - Delta or Kumo

Special Containment Procedures: It does not require a specialized cell, Deltas are not harmful unless controlled by electromagnetic dissonance. It is theorized that Alfa possesses the ability to send swarms of Deltas to its target by metally controlling it.

While some Kumos may be harmless to physical contact, it cannot control its body temperature at will.
Description: The SoU-Δ (a.k.a. Deltas or Kumos) is a flying SoU with the physical resemblance of a bug and ten times its size. While Delta Protos produces a high pitch sound, Delta Deutero has a distinct low-frequency growl. See attached document.
There are two discovered types of deltas, and while both share characteristics, are visually different from each other:
SoU-Δ' - Delta Protos
Delta Protos' physical characteristics resemble that of a wasp, it has a larvae-type body, mantis' hands, and dragonfly-like wings. Its light-source is located on the top part of its head, and the sound emissions are regulated from its antennae.
It has been seen eating human flesh, yet it is a docile creature.

SoU-Δ'' - Delta Deutero
Delta Deutero is a spider-shaped SoU. While sharing the mantis-like hands' property with its counterpart, it has eight extra limbs that it uses to move on any surface. Contrary to the Protos' wings, Deutero possesses big moth-like extensions, making it fly slower towards its prey.
The light source is located on its lower part, making a sound reminiscent of rumbles.

SoU-Ε - Épsilon or Media-Luz

Special Containment Procedures: As far as Épsilon goes, a cell has been created to allocate every specimen contained, divided according to the quantity of Épsilon secured. It isn't very smart but it can escape quickly if left unattended.
Every study made to Épsilon should be executed inside its cell.
Description: The SoU-Ε (Épsilon or Media-Luz) is a small ball-shaped SoU with the ability to run at incredible speeds. It possesses 4 limbs: two hand-like extremities on the bottom of its body that it uses to run and kill, and two pincers on the inner part of its body that it uses to feed itself.
Studies have shown that the Media-Luz is the quickest of the SoU, yet we are unable to test its capacities. The Media-Luz is incredibly weak (physically), and any contact could kill the creature.
It is invulnerable to low and medium frequency light, but soundwaves can be useful to calm the creature.
SoU-Θ - Theta or Riki

Special Containment Procedures: As long as research has concluded, the SoU-Theta should be contained in a glass-box of 1.5 m3 of a solution of ████████ and pure water with electrolytes called ████████████. The life-span of the Theta has been determined to be from seven to nine months.
At the moment, the SPC foundation does not possess any Theta for further research.
Description: The data according to SoU-Θ (Theta or Riki) has been provided by the professor Timothy Grimm at New Zealand's Research Facility:
The Riki [[SoU-TBA]] is a fetus-like creature with the shape of a larva and many layers that protect its light-core.
It's an invertebrate SoU, and while its outer layer is covered in *[DATA EXPUNGED]* the only way we found that could contain it while still keeping it alive is a mixture of water, ████████ and electrolytes, resembling an amniotic sac.
It is believed that every SoU is born like a Riki, developing itself over time to become whatever the Alfa needs.
Riki is believed to be the only SoU found that could change its physical form by implanting visual hallucinations onto the subject, and while being tested on humans, the SoU could change its shape into a young-age human. It is also capable of mimic the human voice at will.
The Riki is one of the rarest SoU that has been registered in the last 7 years.
SoU-Ο - Omicron or Reus

Description: Reus is an extremely tall SoU in the shape of a humanoid-mountain, ranging from 7 to 9 kilometers high, supposedly.
It has not been confirmed if the SoU is destroyed, but caution has been taken since the destruction of Africa's territory.
The Reus is capable of causing tsunamis and earthquakes, believed to be part of the immense amount of destruction that it brings.
Theories and witnesses say that it originates from under the water, causing a hum around coastal areas and increasing water temperature by 30% before the attack. *This cannot be confirmed.*
In December ██/20██, Omicron was seen at the coast of South Africa, making contact with land at around 12:30 am. The attack was confirmed and the creature advanced from south to north. A State of Emergency was declared once again. Data was sent from Site-1525 in South Africa and stored in AI-LEEN for further research at the exact moment of contact with Reus.
At 6:35 am Reus vanished with the dawn of a new day, it was theorized that sunrays destroyed the creature without leaving rests.
The zone of destruction was measured to be 8500 km from South to North and 6450 km from East to West.
Note: Contact has not been made with the Omicron since then.
Attention: Cooperation between ████ and ███████ has been achieved in order to put a rocket into orbit that can replicate sunlight in any part of the globe.
SoU-Ψ - Psi or Karatosnai

Special Containment Procedures: The Psi is contained inside a jamming cell monitored by infrared cameras.
The jamming cell is made out of a metal alloy that bounces the frequency emitted by the Psi and neutralizes its abilities while proportioning microwaves to keep it alive. Doors are operated manually and personnel must use infrared vision at all times while being in contact with the Psi.
Description: The Karatosnai, Psi or SoU-Ψ is not able to be perceived by human sight, it is only visible through infrared light. It is a shape-shifter, but that information is classified as useless since it does not possess any mass, therefore is intangible.
The Karatosnai is incredibly weak to any light source higher than 0.7μm (nought point seven micrometers), and should always be enclosed inside the jamming cell.
It is known to intercept radars and radio signals using ultrasound. It is also theorized that it could send neural impulses through the human brain, but this is not yet confirmed.
