Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3957 is held in Area-██1 an armored sector of Biological Containment Site-103. It is enclosed in a glass chamber equipped with lamps that simulate the luminescence of a red dwarf star. Interviews with the humanoid are to be conducted across a reinforced glass panel with a two-way speaker installed. SCP-3957 must not be exposed to direct sunlight or animals.
Description: SCP-3957 is a humanoid being made of plant material. Its main energy source is photosynthesis, however when exposed to a light source whose luminescence is more than that of a red dwarf star, it appears to experience intense pain.
SCP-3957 is 1.7 meters tall, and a dark green color. Leaves or possibly a kind of flower grow on its head. Its features are otherwise remarkably humanoid.
The being’s diet appears to be vegetarian, as it reacts with rage in the presence of any species of animal but becomes aroused when it sees a plant and will consume it without hesitation.
SCP-3957’s speech seems very much like human speech, but has yet to be studied in depth by the Foundation’s linguists. It does not understand any English words except [DATA EXPUNGED]. This is believed to be related to the incident regarding its placement in the same facility as SCP-████, but a safe manner of further researching this relationship has yet to be found.

(Dr. N. walks across the the room.)
Dr. N.: I walk.
(SCP-3967 provides no response, simply watches Dr. N.)
(Dr. N. sits on the floor of the interview chamber.)
Dr. N.: I sit.
(Subject again fails to respond verbally.)
Dr. N.: I suppose I'll have to try to provoke you.
(Dr. N. leaves the room and returns with a flower. He begins by lifting it toward the subject.)
Dr. N.: Flower.
(Dr. N. takes a lighter from his lab coat pocket and ignites the flower.)
Dr. N.: The flower burns.
(The subject launches itself angrily against the plexiglass barrier between itself and the doctor.)
Subject: [uʑnĩt skuvyɕ]
Dr. N.: "Was that recorded?"
Intercom: "Yes. 3957_01.mp4; 2.53 seconds."
(Subject removes a lamp from the containment unit and begins hitting it against the plexiglass in a rage.)
Subject: [bũnĩ kiʑæ ɑʑd͡ʑejæʑnu ne]
Dr. N.: "Sedate it."
(Gas is released into containment unit, Subject falls to the ground. Dr. N. exits chamber.)
