Description:

The designation SCP-XXXX refers to a memetic agent effective against humans (Homo Sapiens) that manifests as a willingness to engage in cannibalism, or the consumption of other members of the same species. Individuals infected by SCP-XXXX, henceforth designated SCP-XXXX-A, display no other effects or changes in their psyche; they will not actively seek to partake in cannibalistic acts or attack other humans with the intent of consuming them. They simply express no moral qualms with the act of cannibalism, contrary to currently dominant social norms.

SCP-XXXX's vector of infection is unknown, as is its origin. However, based on extensive testing of the civilian population, it has been determined that SCP-XXXX is, or at least appears to be, endemic to human society. SCP-XXXX-A instances have been detected in every country where testing has been conducted, and study of island-based tribal societies has shown that SCP-XXXX occurs even in the most isolated communities. As of the time of writing, it is estimated that SCP-XXXX-A instances currently make up ██% of Earth's population. Data collected since SCP-XXXX's discovery and categorization have shown a ██% over a period of ███ years, though it should be noted that more widespread testing and improvements in the methods used could account for this perceived increase.

SCP-XXXX's memetic nature is debated. Whilst SCP-XXXX
