Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-4952 is more or less stationary, a Foundation operated spa has been set up surrounding it. General staff have been hired on the front end of containment in order to run operations of the spa, whereas one stationed researcher is positioned on site in 3 month rotations. Due to it's beneficial properties, direct access to SCP-4952 is permitted for staff recreation as well as public use through the "Blue Lagoon" company.
Description: SCP 4952 is a geothermal lagoon located near Grindavík, Iceland.
The effect on any living entity is not noticed other than a uncomformable feeling that coarses through the neck and through the ears allowing entities to hear the anomaly as it passes through them, stated publicly that the experience is solely due to pressures in the water.
It noted publicly for it's bright blue hue and _positive effects to people_ from it's heat and silica rich rock deposits.
