Descripton: SCP-XXX is a group of nine, approximately 127 thousand year old, gemstones, most being differently colored. Each one was originally attached to either a metal ring or a metal chain, alike to ones seen on jewelery, before being removed for expiramenting in September of 20██.

When a form of SCP-XXX is attached to a ring or any bacelet-like structure, the structure will decrease in size until the gem is removed, or the structure can't hold the object anymore, ad within a few hours, the structure will go back to it's original size. The origin structures and humanoid entities are the only objects that dont seem to apply to this anamilous effect, reason is currently unknown with our current information.

XXX-A

Description: XXX-1 is a 2.54x1.27x0.25 centimeter gemstone, observably made from a material alike to black moonstone, with Arabic writing carved into it's front side. The Arabic translates to "You do not know what is in the dark." The stone appears completely naturally occuring, besides the carving, and, therefore, is believed to be made in an Arabic speaking country. Beyond that knowledge, XXX-1's origin is currently unknown.

When the object is touched by living being, the being often expierienced up to 312 days of schizophenic hallucinations and an unrecorded time of PTSD as an after effect. These hallucintaions include, but are not limited to:

• Shadows with red, green or blue eyes
• Whispers from random directions
• Chants, semmingly in a distance
• Object(s) that don't knowingly exist.

If any SCP staff or humanoid SCPs seem to see these things, report them to Dr. Simon Glass immediately.

Addendum:

+ Discovery

[XXX-1 was discovered in September of 2012, when SCP was gathering materials for recontaining a group of SCPs at Site-19 after a containment breach occured. The gemstone's humanoid effect activated when in contact with a 14 year old male, often refusing help from his family in a scared behavior, talking to himself, as if with another entity. This was the first case of SCP-XXX-A-2.]

Description:

SCP-XXX-1 is a triangular, samphire-like gemstone

The object has an anamolous effect on humanoid entities that causes the following:

• An increase in IQ(up to 300) and attention span
• Faster reaction time, not affecting speed of movements
• Almost minimal blue tint in the eyes or oculus
• Introversion from other humanoids
• Symptoms of non-genetic mental illnesses, such as depression, anxiety or in 1% of cases, psychopathy

All entities with this anamalous effect are to be labeled as SCP-XXX-B-1
When the object is taken from XXX-B-1, not to be labeled as that from this point, the entity will often behave alike to a 4-10 year old for 10-14 days, before going back to normal(Expiraments on Addendum )
