Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5167 is to be kept in a fenced off 100 ft. x 100 ft. forested area, and should have constant accessibility to mushrooms, flowers, and water. The subject is not allowed outside of the fence at all times. Class-1 Research personnel, or above, are allowed in the pen at all times.
Description: SCP-5167 resembles a Chinese Brown Panda, with kempt fur, and no visible dirtiness. It commonly walks on all 4 legs, but will occasionally stand on its hind legs to gather branches or leaves. The subject will only eat mushrooms, leaves, and flowers. It will refuse all other meats or plants. Subject does not respond to pain, and does not get dirty. After eating, the subject will head back to its “shack”, a pile of sticks and leaves to keep it warm, where it sleeps and wakes up in a typical human sleep cycle. Subject will never roar, or intentionally make noise of any kind.
SCP-5167-1 is a stick shack SCP-5167 will build wherever it goes. The inside of the shack resembles a Victorian era mansion with full electricity and running water. When observed from the outside, the panda does not appear to be able to interact with SCP-5167-1, simply sleeping in the sticks and leaves. Inside SCP-5167-1 there is a fully stocked kitchen and dining room. A library, 5 well kept bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, a smoking room, 2 living rooms, a gaming room, and a maid’s room. Near the rear of SCP-5167-1 there is a glass stained door. Upon exiting the door you will be inside the stick and leaf hut of SCP-5167.
SCP-5167 does not attack or harm any individual, and anyone within a 5-foot radius does not feel pain. [note: subject within 5-foot radius may not feel pain, but is not immune to injury.]
SCP-5167 exhibits serious behavior at all times, and will always spend its day on the same schedule, unfazed by any serious geological or meteorological problems. SCP-5167 will wake up at 6:00PM EST. It will take exactly 1 hr. gathering food, and will spend exactly 1 hr. eating it. It will walk and exercise for the next 2 hrs. before spending 1 hr. gathering leaves and sticks to add to its hut. It will spend 1 hr. to place sticks and leaves on its hut, and will then go back out to eat for another 1 hr. exactly. It will take the next 5 hrs. roaming the forested area with no clear intent or purpose. At 6:00PM EST, it will gather food for 1 hr. and eat it for 1 hr. It will then roam the forested area for exactly 1 hr. until 8:00PM EST, when it will promptly return to its hut and fall asleep immediately.
