SCP-5133
Item #: SCP-5133
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5133 is to be kept in a small containment room, around the size of 4m x 4m, with sound proofing walls, so that the object cannot use its anomalous powers.
Description: SCP-5133 resembles a classic radio from the late 60s, with long range anthens that can produce different types of sound waves. The one it uses the most is one that sounds like a human voice, thats how he communicates with the foundation personel. It was seen that the radio can also express human feelings, which made the researchers think he was a human before he became this radio. It has also been shown that SCP-5133 presents no current threat to the foundation and it is acting friendly with the researchers and even tries to help them, as much as it can.
Incident Sigma-1 - ██/██/████
SCP-5133 was found in 1989 by a Level 3 Researcher at a local store near Arizona. The owner of the place was listening to an old radio, when the personell entered the store. As the researcher was casually shopping, he detected a weird signal coming from the radio and asked the owner if he can take a look at it. After taking a better look at the radio, the personell paid the owner of the store some money so that he can get the radio.
After that it was shown that the radio possesed some sort of ability, that let it speak through sound waves. After a few days of the radio being contained, the researchers decided they should do some testing on it, to show what kind of intelligence does it posses, or if it even posses any.
Test A - ██/██/████
A hungry wolf was placed into SCP-5133's containment and the researchers told the radio to try and defend himself how he can. After that the object immedeatily reacted to the wolf's attack and made a very strident sound that even broke the window that separated the containment zone from the other zone. Both researchers and the wolf died instantly. The sound was estimated to be around 190 dB, so it made sense that the researchers would be killed. After that test, he was put in a sound proofing containment, so that incident can't happen again. After that it even apologized for what he did, but said it was inevitable.
After around 1 month, the Foundation decided to dig a little more into SCP-5133's past and its origin. So it took the fact that the radio was able to comunicate to their advantage.
Interviewed: SCP-5133
Interviewer: Dr. █████
Foreword: The Foundation wanted to learn more about SCP-5133's past and the threat it might be.
<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Hello there, SCP-5133, I am here to ask you some important questions, so we can understand you and what you want better than we do now, let's begin. First question, which I think is one of the most important ones on the list, who are you, or what are you, more exactly?
SCP: Ah, it was expectable you would ask me this type of question, but unfortunately, what I am is beyond human understandings and telling you would just make you more confused…
Interviewer: What do you mean by that, are you trying to say you are superior to us?
SCP: Oh yes, I am way superior than humans, but they started to amaze me little by little. Even though, you will never aquire enough knowledge to call yourself evolved, or superior to other races in this galaxy.
Interviewer: By that, you want to say you are not from earth?
SCP: An intelligent being like me couldn't be made on this poor planet, I was created by a way smarter species, that its tehnology is thousands of years more evolved than yours, but now look at me, I am stuck in this machine that can barely do anything.
Interviewer: So, you weren't this radio from the beggining?
SCP: No, I am an AI, if thats how you call it here, I can connect myself to other electronical machines, or power sources, thats what I was trying to do when you found me.
Interviewer: Very interesting, that is going to help our research quite a bit. Now, the second question, if you weren't created on this planet, how did you get on it?
SCP: This a long story, that I don't want to tell you, but on short, I had to leave my planet, due to us being ████████ by another █████. After that I was the only survivor and my whole ████ ███ █████ ██ ███.
Interviewer: And now, the last question, what are your intentions on Earth?
SCP: None, till now, but I plan to make this place ████ ██ ███.
<End Log>
Closing Statement: The Foundation understood SCP-5133 a little better and saw that it doesn't present a massive threat, so it was marked as a Safe SCP, with further testing on it only allowed by Level 2+ Personell.
